"Sister, what are we going to eat?" Ruirui asked happily.
"We should go to the state-owned restaurant to see what's on offer today. Let's go quickly! There will be a lot of people there soon, and it's past eleven o'clock now!" Xuemei urged.

When Xuemei and her friends arrived at the cinema, the next movie was about to start in half an hour. After discussing it, Xuemei and her friends bought tickets for this show.
Originally Feifei and Qingya were sitting on Xuemei's left and right sides. I don't know what Han Chen said to Feifei, but he sat on Xuemei's left side.
Xuemei asked curiously, "How did you convince Feifei to switch places with you?"
Han Chen said mysteriously: "This is a secret between him and me, I can't tell you!"

Han Chen looked at Xuemei who looked like an angry kitten and smiled.
"What are you laughing at? What's so funny?" Xuemei asked curiously.

As soon as Han Chen finished speaking, the lights in the cinema went out, and then the screen in front began to light up.
Xuemei and the others were watching Railway Guerrillas today. After watching for a while, Xuemei noticed that Han Chen was staring at her.
Xuemei turned her head and whispered to Han Chen, "Why are you looking at me? Go watch the movie!"
"You are not as good as the movie. I want to see more of you. The village will be busy again in a few days! I may not have time to pick you up on the road every afternoon!" Han Chen leaned close to Xuemei and answered in a low voice.
Xuemei's ears burned and her face flushed at Han Chen's words. She threatened in a low voice, "Watch the movie carefully. After the movie is over, I'll ask you what it's about. Also, we're outside, and even though it's dark now, we still have to be careful about the impact."
"Okay, I will control myself and try to look at you more!" Han Chen said in a low voice.

Then Xuemei and her three siblings followed Han Chen to the transport factory and drove a tractor home.
It was almost 4:30 when they got home. Xuemei emptied half of the White Rabbit candies and mung bean cakes in her backpack and handed them to Han Chen, saying, "You like sweet things, so take these back! It's still early, so I plan to take my brothers and sisters up to get some pig grass and firewood. Do you want to come with us?"
"Of course I'll go with you, Xuemei. Wait for a moment, I'll drive the tractor to the brigade headquarters first?" Han Chen said as he took the things.
After Xuemei and her three siblings changed their clothes, Xuemei asked Qingya to go and deliver the things that Dr. Gu had brought to Wu Yuezhu and the others.
Qingya came back with Han Chen. Han Chen also changed into old clothes and took a hatchet.
Seeing that everyone was ready, Xuemei closed the gate and went up the mountain together.
At around 6:30, everyone was ready to go down the mountain together. Halfway down the mountain, Qingya and Ruirui spotted a hare, so they put down the firewood on their backs and went after it.
Almost half an hour later, Qingya and Ruirui came back. Qingya was holding a dead rabbit weighing more than two kilograms.
"If you don't come back, we will go look for you. It's almost dark!" Xuemei felt relieved after seeing the two of them having fun.
Ruirui said, "Sister, there's nothing to worry about. My sister and I have been to the mountains with Dad so many times at night. We can still see clearly now, so we are not afraid. We caught this rabbit a long time ago, but when we came back..."

Mother Liu just came out of the kitchen and looked at the four siblings in the yard and said, "I knew you went up the mountain. It's a good thing you guys didn't come back earlier. It's almost dark!"
"Mom, we're going to catch rabbits, look!" Ruirui said as he raised the rabbit in his hand to show Liu's mother.
"After dinner, ask your father to skin the rabbit and fry it tomorrow night!" replied Liu's mother.
"Mom, what are we having for dinner tonight?" Qingya asked.
"I stir-fried some bamboo shoots with preserved vegetables. Today when I was working in the mountains, I found some fresh red-shelled bamboo shoots, so I picked them and brought them back. There's enough for one meal tomorrow! You can go wash your hands now and eat." Liu's mother replied.
"Mom, there is braised beef with soy sauce and two white flour buns in the backpack that Han Chen left for you and Dad. Please heat them up and eat them together!" Xuemei said.
After dinner, Liu's father went to take care of the rabbits, Ruirui cleared the table, and Qingya and Feifei went back to their rooms to do their homework. Xuemei and Liu's mother were cleaning the things in the backpack. Liu's mother looked at the white sugar, brown sugar, beef jerky, etc. that they had taken out and asked, "These are all given to you by Yaoyao and the others!"
