Xuemei took Han Chen's hand and said, "Han Chen, from now on, you will not only have the Lin family by your side, but also me and my family. We will always be with you!"
After Xuemei finished speaking, she stood up and squatted in front of Han Chen. She put her arms around Han Chen and patted his shoulders to comfort him.
"Xuemei, I always feel that meeting you is my greatest luck!" Han Chen said while hugging Xuemei tightly.
"You will always be lucky in the future as long as you treat me well!" Xuemei joked.
"I will!" Han Chen let go of Xuemei and said to her seriously while looking at her.
"Okay, now I'll test you. The beans haven't been cut yet, and the cucumbers haven't been chopped yet!" Xuemei joked.
"You tell me, I'll do it!" Han Chen said with a smile as he pinned up his sleeves.
Next, Xuemei asked Han Chen to cook, and in just over ten minutes he prepared the remaining two dishes, stir-fried green beans and smashed cucumbers.
Xuemei asked Han Chen to bring out the dishes and rice he had prepared first. She opened the casserole and took a look. The chicken was almost done, so Xuemei poured the chicken blood in. After a few minutes, Xuemei picked up a piece with chopsticks and asked Han Chen to taste it to see if it was stewed.
"Blow on it before eating to avoid getting burned. How is it? Is it salty? Is it stewed well?" Xuemei asked.
"Xuemei, it's delicious, with just the right amount of saltiness. The chicken falls apart in one sip. Your cooking skills are so good, it seems I will be blessed in the future!" Han Chen replied with shining eyes.
"Stop talking nonsense. You have to learn from me from now on. You can't rely on me to cook for you alone!" Xuemei said as she sprinkled green onions on the chicken.
"You can cook in the future. I will learn when I have time. I will cook for you after I learn it well! I will wash the dishes at home in the future." Han Chen said flatteringly.
"Okay, stop talking so smoothly and go call my parents and Qingya and the others to dinner!" Xuemei said.
