Chapter 8
After a week of campus life, Yi Hanxing not only successfully established his image as a child, submitted an application to join the physics experiment club and was approved, but also made some friends.
Speaking of friends, the acquaintance with Zhou Yizi and others was quite dramatic. Later, Zhou Yizi and others talked about them and said that they were "heroes saving beauties."
That was the physical education class that Yi Hanxing hated so much.
In the Republic of China period, in addition to traditional martial arts and boxing, physical education classes also included ball games such as basketball.
In addition to the running and long jump tests in the first class, in the second physical education class, the teacher brought out a basketball for everyone to play with.
Although it was a co-educational school, the atmosphere in middle schools during the Republic of China was still relatively conservative. Although students played ball, it was between girls and boys, and physical contact between men and women was avoided.
Because of the uniforms of Delin Middle School, not much skin can be seen from the female students in basketball class. However, the girls playing basketball is still very attractive to these young male students who come to watch.
Although the number of female students is far less than that of male students, there are still 8 girls in Yi Hanxing's class of 36 students.
When these eight girls walked out wearing uniform sportswear, the contrast was obvious.
Some have graceful figures, some are just beginning to show their tip, but Yi Hanxing is not only at least half a head shorter than the others, but also the same height from front to back.
Wearing the same clothes is not a big deal, but whoever is ugly will be embarrassed. Yi Hanxing thought that she was undoubtedly the ugly one.
Fortunately, the young ladies were all very gentle, and because they thought Yi Hanxing was a child, they took good care of her. Even when the teacher was practicing passing and intercepting the ball, they were gentle to Yi Hanxing. However, this was not the case for some of the teenage male classmates who were very aggressive and hateful.
Yi Hanxing learned to jump and shoot, and the male classmates laughed.
Yi Hanxing pounced on the basketball and the male classmates laughed.
The basketball passed by the young lady flew over Yi Hanxing's head, and the male classmates continued to laugh.
Yi Hanxing, who was laughing to the point of being unable to bear it any longer, couldn't help but turn around and shout at the boys when they laughed again, "What are you laughing at! Come on, let's have a basketball shooting competition!"
Several male classmates looked at each other and asked in surprise: "Compared with us?"
"Of course! One-on-one! The winner will be determined by who makes the shot!" Yi Hanxing said.
"No, no, no, if you stand there and your neck breaks, you won't even be able to see the basket, and then you'll accuse us of bullying."
Teenage boys are so mean-spirited that Yi Hanxing wants to create a character of a naughty and unruly kid.
"You're too scared to compete, right?" Yi Hanxing provoked him.
"Who wouldn't dare? Come on!" The male students were fooled.
I heard that Yi Hanxing wanted
I was competing in basketball shooting with the boys, and the physical education teacher came over to act as a referee with great interest.
"In this competition, you're playing against the four of us. How do you determine the winner?" the boy asked. "Did we all beat you, or did you all beat us? What if someone got more points than you, and someone got fewer?"
"That's easy," the referee said. "Find three more people from Yi Hanxing's side. You can split into teams and compete. Just count the total number of shots made."
"Is there anyone willing to team up with me?"
The young ladies were either shy or felt that their shooting accuracy was too low and did not want to hold the team back, so they did not speak up.
Seeing this situation, Zhou Yizi stepped forward and said, "I'll do it."
"Thank you, classmate Zhou." Yi Hanxing clasped his fists and then asked, "Are there any other students willing to do so?"
"No, Yizi, why are you joining in the fun?" When Yi Hanxing asked everyone, Zhou Yizi's friends also asked him in a low voice.
"My two friends, Wang Fu and Qin Guanyu, are also willing!" Zhou Yizi immediately sold out the two friends next to him.
"You join in the fun yourself and drag us into it?!" Wang Fu and Qin Guanyu were shocked and regretted making bad friends.
"Okay, we are all friends in the same club from now on, and we must help classmate Yi regain his face!" Zhou Yizi said.
Yi Hanxing cast a curious look at the three of them, and without asking too many questions, he found the physical education teacher and started the competition.
Both teams use the same basketball and take turns standing outside the one-meter line to shoot.
Although Yi Hanxing doesn't like sports, he has played a lot of basketball shooting games in the arcade, and his accuracy is pretty good. Although Wang Fu is not so good, Zhou Yizi and Qin Guanyu are both very accurate, especially Qin Guanyu, who makes nine out of ten shots, which is quite impressive.
In the end, Yi Hanxing and his three companions won the game. Fortunately, there was no deep hatred between the classmates, and they let it go after playing basketball. Instead, Yi Hanxing, Zhou Yizi and the other two became friends.
Yi Hanxing submitted an application to join the Physics Experiment Club and received an interview notice from the club on Thursday. Upon asking, he learned that Zhou Yizi, Wang Fu and Qin Guanyu were all going to the interview like him.
Yi Hanxing was already able to talk to Zhou Yizi and the others at this time. Together with Zhou Yuetong and the two young ladies who were sitting behind him at the time, a small group was initially formed.
In this small group, one of the two young ladies wants to join the Poetry Club, one wants to join the Embroidery Club, and Zhou Yuetong wants to join the Reading Club. Her goals are different from those of the other four.
Zhou Yizi and Yi Hanxing were determined to join the Physics Experiment Club, while Wang Fu and Qin Guanyu were indifferent. Considering their friendship with Zhou Yizi and the fact that they had a top student to rely on, they simply submitted applications to join the Physics Experiment Club as well.
So in their free time, the four of them started discussing what the Physics Experiment Club might
Some interview questions.
"I think they might be using parallel circuits and series circuits to help us troubleshoot the problem," Qin Guanyu said.
"Maybe it's a power generation experiment." Wang Fu fantasized.
"What do you think?" Yi Hanxing asked Zhou Yizi.
"I can do anything." Zhou Yizi answered with a bit of pride and the Versailles attitude of a top student.
After hearing Zhou Yizi's domineering speech, Yi Hanxing wanted to tell Zhou Yizi the truth that FLAGs cannot be set randomly.
Facts have proven that the flag that is erected is meant to be knocked down.
"What the hell?" Wang Fu blurted out in Northeastern dialect, thinking he had heard it wrong.
"This..." Qin Guanyu was speechless.
"That's why I said that the flag is easy to fall down when it is standing up." Yi Hanxing couldn't help but mutter to himself.
"What did you say?" Zhou Yizi asked Yi Hanxing without hearing clearly.
"I think you should be more careful about your words next time. Children's words are always blown away by the wind." Yi Hanxing replied.
"So you blame me?" Zhou Yizi couldn't help but retort Yi Hanxing.
"Well, it's all your fault." Yi Hanxing said as Qin Guanyu and Wang Fu nodded beside him.
"Okay, blame me!" Zhou Yizi looked at the interview question: "This question is too outrageous."
The president of the Physics Experiment Club felt a pang of pain when he heard his junior classmates discussing how outrageous the interview questions were: There is really no way, the Physics Experiment Club is so short of talent!
The club is full of science and engineering guys. The school requires that club activities be reported to the monthly school newspaper.
You also have to participate in some performance reporting activities. The publication and reporting of the situation will also affect the funding for next year. Isn't it just a matter of gritting your teeth and turning the job interview into writing a press release and giving an impromptu speech?
I can’t blame myself for betraying physics; life is really hard! The president thought.
