Chapter 1134 Isn’t it amazing?

She told Sister Wan that she was so nervous that she couldn't concentrate on watching the movie at all.

But Jiang Keer soon discovered that she had overestimated the degree of interference Mu Yanze would cause her and underestimated the charm of her sister Wan.

Almost as soon as the movie started, she had forgotten the people and things around her.

The movie opens with a bang.

In the darkness of the night, there were curses mixed with the sounds of kicking and beating, and thunder exploded in the sky.

In the footage, a group of sloppy young men beat a half-grown boy until his face was covered in blood.

“It’s going to rain soon…”

I don't know who shouted, but the young men kicked the boy hard, got on their motorcycles and rode away.

The bruised and battered boy opened his eyes, his eyes full of resentment and depression. He looked particularly weak and powerless in the crackling rain.

Climbing up and raising his head, the boy let the rain wash away the blood from his mouth and nose.

Then he staggered towards the lively place where the lights were on.

The dilapidated house, the silent boy, everything seemed particularly depressing.

When the boy was kicked to the ground by his drunk father, sobbing sounds were heard in the theater.

When tears were about to burst out of her eyes, she remembered that Mu Yanze was sitting next to her. In the darkness, Jiang Ke'er tried her best to open her eyes wide to prevent the tears from falling.

The next moment, there was a rustling sound and a tissue was stuffed into the palm of his hand.

Not even daring to look back at him, Jiang Ke'er bit her lip.

The ringing sound brought Jiang Keer back to her senses.

On a rainy night, the boy kicked over the bicycle in the yard and ran out of the house.

Not sure if it was rain or tears, the boy kept wiping his face, and after a while, he ran to a courtyard outside the village.

Climbing in through the dog hole, the boy leaned against the simple shed and gasped for breath.

When his breathing stabilized, the boy raised his head and called "cuckoo cuckoo" a few times.

The rain gradually subsided. A window opened above my head and a plain face peeked out.

Jiang Keer's breathing stagnated.

In the night with moonlight pouring down all over the ground, the girl who pushed the window open and walked out was as beautiful as a magnolia flower blooming in the moonlight. She was so pure and beautiful that she felt that even a breath would break the beauty of this moment.

When I came to my senses, I found that the entire theater was eerily quiet.

It seemed as if everyone felt the same way.

The boy saw the girl and grinned.

The girl also saw the boy, a flash of pity appeared in her eyes, and then she closed the window.

The next moment, the girl came out of the dog hole carrying a small bamboo basket.

Cleaning, disinfection, bandaging...

In the more than one-minute-long footage, there is no sound at all, only the sporadic falling raindrops and the chirping of insects in the distance complement each other.

"I didn't fight with anyone, really! They hit me but I didn't fight back. ... Don't worry, it's just a minor injury. I'll be fine after a good night's sleep."

The boy muttered to himself, looking like he didn't want to make the girl worry.

From beginning to end, the girl didn't say a word, making people feel that she was just angry.

When she started to pack the basket, the girl raised her head, patted the boy's head, smiled with curved eyebrows, and gestured to the boy.

"She can't speak!"

A cry of surprise was heard, followed by a belated gasp in the theater.

Even Jiang Ke'er was stunned for a moment.

She had heard from her sister Wan that she played a mute girl in Ting Hai, but from the beginning of the movie till now, she had not reacted at all.

Almost from the moment the girl leaned out of the window, she felt as if she could tell what she had said from the expression on her face.

It was as if it didn't matter much if she didn't speak.

Anyway, people around her can always understand.

Isn't it amazing? Jiang Ke'er widened her eyes and looked more seriously.
