Chapter 48 Half Sisters

After opening the door, Tang Mulin rushed in with bags.

Ye Wan was stunned.

"If you knew, you were here to bring me warmth. If you didn't, you would have thought you were going to run away from home."

In the blink of an eye, a pile of bags were placed in front of the sofa. At a glance, there were clothes, books, and snacks. Ye Wan couldn't help but joked, "Miss Tang, what are you talking about?"

"I can sing whatever I want!"

Tang Mulin said angrily, walked around inside and outside, hugged Ye Wan with red eyes, "Wanwan..."

The two knew each other when they were still in their mothers' wombs, went to kindergarten together, elementary school together, and entered Mingde High School together.

They are classmates, friends, and each other’s best friends.

Tang Mulin told everyone that Ye Wan was her half-sister.

Her sister is beautiful, has a good personality, and comes from a good family. She has been a lady of a noble family for 18 years, and everything she eats and wears are from famous brands.

But now, she lives in this old house which is not even one-tenth of its former size, and she doesn't even want to go to school.

When Tang Mulin thought about how she was still enjoying a good life at home while Ye Wan had to live frugally here and still have to take care of that little devil Ye Cheng, he felt so aggrieved that he wanted to cry.

But when the Ye family got into trouble, she asked Ye Wan to live in her house, but Ye Wan refused.

Having slept in the same bed together, Tang Mulin knew exactly what Ye Wan was thinking.

If the Tang family went bankrupt, she would make the same choice as Ye Wan.

Even if she is poor, her spirit is not poor! Her parents are watching her from heaven, and she has to live a decent life to reassure them even if she has to grit her teeth.

"Okay, it's okay..."

Ye Wan patted her on the back and said, "I'm fine."

It's fine.

But Ye Wan is no longer the warm and smiling little sun of the past.

"I brought you the computer you asked for!"

Wiping her eyes, Tang Mulin took out a brand new computer and mobile phone from her backpack, as well as the live broadcast equipment she bought online, and stuffed them all at once to Ye Wan. "I'll come here every ten days or half a month from now on. Tell me if you need anything."

Tang Mulin said seriously, "If you regard me as a sister, don't be so stubborn. I know you are capable, but you have no desire for me, so I just feel that I am not worthy of being your sister!"

"Okay, okay, I got it, sister. Could you please do me a favor and have the loving breakfast I prepared especially for you?"

Ye Wan raised his hand and swore, then dragged Tang Mulin over and sat at the dining table.

While eating and chatting, Tang Mulin felt relieved to know that Ye Wan was reading books outside of the live broadcast.

But thinking of the rumors brewing in the campus forums, and the bastards who dared not reveal their IDs and used their secondary accounts to stir up trouble, Tang Mulin became anxious again, "Wanwan, what are you going to do?"

"Isn't this simple?"

Ye Wan smiled lightly, "Spreading rumors and slander will lead to legal liability. Send a lawyer's letter!"

Tang Mulin was stunned for a moment, not knowing what he was thinking about. He smiled for the first time since he entered the room, "I knew there was nothing Wanwan couldn't handle!"

"Then I'm leaving. The show is about to begin. I have to open my eyes and see the ugly faces of those people."

After drinking the last sip of milk, Tang Mulin stood up feeling relieved.

Before leaving, she did not forget to give Ye Wan a warm hug, "You know the password, it's my private money left with you, if I get down and out in the future, you can support me!"

It wasn't until Tang Mulin rushed into the elevator like a gust of wind that Ye Wan reacted.

She touched the back pocket of her jeans and sure enough, it was the bank card that Tang Mulin gave her when the Ye family went bankrupt.

"Wanwan, it's only over 10 million. It's not a lot of money. Don't think it's too little. Use it first."

After many twists and turns, the card finally fell into her hands.

Looking at the bags on the ground, then at the card in his hand, Ye Wan sniffed.

It takes only one mouth to spread a rumor, but it takes a lot of effort to refute it.

Heizi, today I will let you see what combat effectiveness is!
