Chapter 239 Perfect Ending
On the busy Iris Street in the early morning, citizens passing by Kapin's mansion were frightened by the earth-shaking noise and hid everywhere. Only when they realized that they were not in danger did they raise their heads and look towards the place where the sound came from.
All the window panes of the villa located in the vast lawn were shattered, and large amounts of flames and black smoke poured out of every door and window. A huge hole was directly blown out of one of the walls. A figure flew out of the hole trailing black smoke, drawing a parabola and landing on the lawn outside the villa.
The figure stood up shakily, his steps unsteady, and he stumbled and was about to fall again, but he finally stabilized his body before falling into the fountain pool. Half of his face was covered with black ash, and the other half was torn apart. Only a few strips of cloth were left of his windbreaker, and the shirt inside was on fire, with several yellow flames still emitting. He wore a black iron glove on his left hand, and his right shoulder was covered in blood and flesh. It was Heras who had escaped death.
He rolled into the pool beside him, used the fountain to extinguish the flames on his body, coughed twice, spat out a mouthful of blood, then looked at his exposed skin, which was covered with dense blisters.
The continuous use of extraordinary abilities, the consumption of magical items, the impact of "frenzy" on his spirituality, and his severely injured body, these factors combined have brought him to the brink of losing control.
Feeling that his life was in danger, he decided on his next course of action almost instantly.
Without caring about the lives of Katie and Belize who were affected by the explosives, or Capin and the girls he had captured, Heras jumped out of the fountain and ran away without looking back. He pushed open the side door of the garden, leaving a trail of water, and disappeared among the stunned crowd on the street.
Belize, who rushed to support from the basement, was standing at the restaurant door and did not enter, so he did not suffer much damage from the explosion. However, the backpack on his back was deformed and failed in the huge impact, and the high-pressure steam inside quickly leaked. The secondary explosion almost killed this Sequence 7 Beyonder on the spot.
Struggling to get up in the steam, Belize glanced at the restaurant filled with broken limbs, flames and black smoke, took off his backpack, threw away the steam rifle connected to it, and stumbled out of the villa.
Heras has already run away, why should he stay?
Until this time, Angel, who had escaped from the center of the explosion using the magic mirror, returned to the first floor lobby from the second floor. He looked at Belize's bloody back, hesitated for a moment, and still did not chase after him.
The most urgent task is to rescue the kidnapped girls, not to chase after the two extraordinary people. The huge explosion and smoke must have alarmed the police and official extraordinary people in this area. This area is under the charge of the "Manufactured Punishers" of the Storm Church. In a few minutes, he will be blocked here by those violent law enforcers and face a second, more difficult battle.
"As expected, the basement is intact. Heras's confinement blocked most of the impact, and I have already dealt with the remaining guards inside."
A translucent armored ghost emerged from the ground, and the voice of Detective Moriarty came from inside, as if coming from far away, distant, yet with endless majesty.
"That's good. Just release them as soon as possible and let them escape to the street. The police will probably arrive soon. I'll clean up the scene and then retreat."
Looking at the armored ghost who was several inches taller than him, Angel replied that not only the servants here, but even the guards participated in the torture of the kidnapped girls. Neither Angel nor Moriarty considered their lives when they took action.
The ghost Moriarty nodded, then slipped back underground and headed for the basement where the girls were imprisoned.
Angel returned to the restaurant which was bombed and transparent on all sides. The servants who were unconscious in the screams of ghosts had already died in the explosion, and no complete body could be found. Capin, who was kicked into the corner, was a little luckier, as at least his body was still intact.
Turning the slightly obese guy with burnt pudding on his face, Angel took out a deck of tarot cards as agreed with Moriarty, scattered them around the evil rich man, and finally covered his eyes with two special main cards.
After creating this rather mysterious scene, Angel picked up Parker's extracted extraordinary characteristics, came to Katie, whose skin and flesh were burnt black and no longer breathing, searched around, and picked up her also extracted characteristics.
Unfortunately, the whip that could directly attack the soul had been broken into three pieces in the explosion and had lost its use value. However, Angel still carefully kept it, perhaps he could find someone to repair it or obtain some extraordinary properties from it.
After cleaning up the battlefield, Angel flashed through the flames and appeared in the attic of the villa. She climbed up the stairs to the roof, looked at the frightened yet curious crowd on the street, closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and prepared for her final "performance".

The sound of door locks opening rang out one after another. Klein, whose spirit was wrapped in a "master key", had no time to identify which cell was occupied. Instead, he walked through the cell doors in the basement one by one and opened them all.
In the separated cells, the ragged girls only felt gusts of cold wind sweeping past, and the cell doors in front of them opened automatically.
They stood there in a daze, not daring to move, worried that it was a prank by those vicious adults, until a brown-haired girl pushed open the door first and came to the corridor. She looked at the guard who usually looked ferocious but was now lying on the ground with blood gushing from the bullet hole in his head, and looked at the basement entrance which was also open.
"Everyone run, the door is really open!"
Emily yelled and ran towards the stairs at the entrance, towards the light of freedom. Hearing the sound, the other girls also took their scarred legs and rushed out of the basement. Led by Emily, they passed through the smoke-filled hall of the villa, ran across the gravel-strewn lawn, and came to the bustling street.
The citizens attracted by the explosion and smoke first dispersed in confusion, and then uttered a few exclamations. Some people had recognized the girls who had been missing for a long time and even had been posted on missing persons notices. Two policemen attracted by the explosion squeezed through the crowd and walked towards them.
The girls huddled together, not knowing whether they should trust these policemen. Most of them were from the East District and had little good impression of the policemen to begin with, not to mention that they had just escaped from Kapin's mansion.
Some of them were kidnapped on the street, some were lured into a corner and taken away after being knocked unconscious, and several girls were lucky enough to escape from the clutches of the kidnappers, but were soon returned to the basement after calling the police.
But this time, those ferocious adults are gone, maybe... they can really be rescued?
Emily didn't care about these things. She turned around and looked at the villa which was shrouded in smoke. A big hole had been blown out on the first floor and half of the wall had collapsed.
A woman with a hazy face stood on the roof of the attic, her long hair fluttering in the wind. Her tall figure faced the morning sun, and she seemed to be looking into the distance.
At the end of the woman's sight, an illusory door appeared in mid-air, intricately carved with symbols. The translucent door silently opened, and a figure emerged, surveying the shattered villas and streets from above. In the distance, a strong wind blew, and another figure rapidly approached.
Emily seemed to see the corners of the woman's mouth at the top of the attic curl up into a mysterious smile.
Then, a large amount of mist surged out of her body, and black armor and a black crown emerged from the mist, enveloping her like an extremely majestic queen.
More people noticed the movement in the attic. The girls who were being questioned by the police and the citizens who were shocked and confused by the explosion all looked up.
The armored woman leaped from a great height, plunged headfirst into the burning ruins below, and disappeared without a trace amid the people's exclamations.
