When writing this, I took a look at last year's year-end summary. At that time, I wrote 1.798 million words, and now the total number of words is 3.812 million. That is to say, in the past year, (open the calculator), I wrote 2.014 million words, an average of nearly 170,000 words per month, which shows that my updates are still very stable (I can only brag about stability).
Because I didn't write down the year-end summary last year, I have actually forgotten the exact number of follow-up and average subscriptions at that time. I only have a vague impression that the follow-up subscriptions were more than 30,000 and the average subscriptions were less than 50,000. This year has passed, and the follow-up subscriptions and average subscriptions have almost doubled. Well, the average subscription is 93,000, and the peak of follow-up subscriptions has reached 63,000, which lasted for more than a week. Now, it is written that other members of the Tarot Club also have around 54,000.
I have to thank everyone for this, from being on the character list, to getting the first place in monthly tickets, from birthday parties to getting the free stuff from Qidian, to the repeated attempts to recommend it to people, from all kinds of drawings, songs, video clips, interactive games, fan fiction, free peripherals written out of love, to all kinds of silly jokes in the chapter and comments, the Chinese class representative, and the hard-working administrators and moderators, it is you who have brought Weird to where it is today. Of course, my good writing is also one of the reasons (laughs).
So, in the new year, what I want to say most is thank you, thank you everyone.
It seems that there is nothing much to write about the summary of this month's creation, because I have already summarized it once after finishing the Amon section. This verified an idea of mine that sometimes, the protagonist's comfort zone can be appropriately broken, so that there is a different plot tension and a fresh sense of excitement. After the Amon section, because the tension and relaxation are in moderation, continuing such a rivalry is not actually very good. It is easy to be repetitive and monotonous, and lacks sufficient changes. Well, changes should be placed at more important times, rather than the daily pursuit. Therefore, in the second half, I will expand the perspective and write about other members of the Tarot Club to lay more and better groundwork for the later part of this part.
This may cause some plots to be rather bland, but there is nothing that can be done about it. If the opening scene hadn't set the pace too fast, I should have slowed it down and portrayed more details, which might have had a better effect.
For 2020, my expectation is to finish writing the book "Mystery". According to my estimation, it will take more than the second half of the year, and it may be finished around May, or June at the latest.
Everything has a beginning, but few have an end. The more I write, the more nervous I become, as if I'm treading on thin ice. I can only keep telling myself that I must stay calm, wrap up the story well, and finish it so that more readers and friends can follow it to the end.
At that time, when we look back, we can truly conclude whether the creation of many characters has achieved the purpose and whether many of the things we wanted to express have been expressed.
On the first day of 2020, I ask for your monthly ticket support. A journey of a hundred miles begins with a single step. Let us finish the last few months of Weird Secret.
Also, I wish you all the best in 2020!
Well, actually I originally wanted to say that I wish everyone a happy 2020, but when I thought about the mystery that might make you sad, I finally changed the blessing. After all, the background color of this world in this book has been brewing, and the necessary knives will always be there.
Last but not least, the update will be at normal time tomorrow. Please vote for me. You won’t be cheated if you vote during the double period!
