Chapter 4 Three Chairs

Under Klein's control, the resentful spirit of Senior penetrated the thick soil and stones and came to Sharon's side. He saw a broken handrail with asymmetrical patterns buried in front of him. It was similar to the broken wood found before, but different.

The handrail is not pure dark black, but has dark red texture in the lines, like a mixture of iron and blood.

Recalling the scene from his past nightmare, Klein was sure that this was not the high-backed chair that the young man suspected to be Medici was sitting on.

This is the second one!

There are at least two high-back chairs in this room where the evil spirits are sealed!

Neither Klein nor Sharon spoke. They circled in different directions, looking for other traces.

It wasn't long before they found proof of the existence of a third high-back chair!

It was a piece of chair leg, mainly dark red with pure black patterns, completely different from the previous two types of wood chips.

“Perhaps it’s a problem caused by the asymmetric characteristics of the Quaternary Epoch…” Klein knew Sharon’s style and took the initiative to speak, saying something he didn’t quite believe.

In the nightmare caused by the contamination of evil spirits, the high-back chairs that appeared were at least of uniform color!

Sharon shook her head slightly:

“‘Three’ is more ceremonial.”

She meant that the "Blood Emperor" Alistair Tudor would not have killed only one innocent person, and there might have been a ritual in the room where the evil spirits were sealed.

Klein was stunned for a moment when he heard this, and a picture suddenly flashed through his mind.

In the spacious and dim room, with a certain place as the center, there were three high-backed chairs of different styles. On each chair sat a humanoid creature with his head drooping and no breath. Among them was the "Red Angel" Medici.

This scene became clearer and clearer, and Klein instantly thought of two other things:

The main ingredients of the Sequence 0 "Black Emperor" potion are "uniqueness" and two Sequence 1 Beyonder characteristics (excluding the one you own);

The "Blood Emperor" Alistair Tudor seemed to have forcibly jumped from Sequence 1 "Prince of Order Killing" of the "Black Emperor" pathway to Sequence 0 "Red Priest" of a non-similar pathway, and turned into a half-crazy true god!

As his thoughts turned, Klein quickly came up with a guess:

A ceremony for advancement to Sequence 0, involving the rank of True God, was once held in this room!

Of course, judging by the complicated rituals required by the "Black Emperor", this should only be the potion part. The path representing "war" obviously requires the chaos and strife of the entire continent to match.

However, the “Blood Emperor” Alistair Tudor himself does not possess the corresponding Sequence 1 Beyonder characteristics, so his “Red Priest” potion requires three Sequence 1 angels or seals to provide Beyonder characteristics, which is why there are three high-back chairs here!

By the way, the evil spirit suspected to be the "Red Angel" Medici said that the way to help it break free from the seal is to find the direct descendants of Soran, Einhorn, and the Medici family, take 10 ml of blood from each, and mix it with holy water... Soran and Einhorn are angel families that control the extraordinary path of "Hunter", that is, "Red Priest". They have existed since the Fourth Epoch. One has declined and can only control the spy agency and a faction of the military of Intis, and the other is still the royal family of Feysac... Klein's thoughts flashed, and he had a new judgment on what happened in this room and the true identity of the evil spirit:

Sitting on the other two high-back chairs were the ancestors of the Soran and Einhorn families, Sequence 1 angels!

Together with the "War Angel" Medici, who is likely to hold the "uniqueness" of this path, the main ingredients of the "Red Priest" potion are complete!

And that evil spirit is most likely not just the "Red Angel" Medici, but also a mixture of the residual spirit and hatred of the ancestors of the Sauron and Einhorn families!

Hiss, three Sequence 1 angels were once “sacrificed” here! The curse they cast before their death and the effects left by the ritual itself made this room extremely terrifying and sealed? Fortunately, I reported it to the church in advance and let them handle it. Otherwise, if I relied on myself alone, even if Miss Sharon and I had been promoted to Sequence 4, we might have died here and become food for the evil spirit... Klein was afraid and relieved at the same time.

At the same time, he understood more and more why the "Red Priest" card fell into the hands of the evil spirit. When all the former high-level people of a path were buried in this underground ruins, the attraction between the extraordinary characteristics would naturally guide the holder here without any deviation.

Moreover, the Emperor said that everything that is separated must be gathered, and everything that is gathered must be separated. When the "Blood Emperor" Alistair Tudor fell, the true god characteristics he possessed, that is, the Sequence 0 characteristics, should also be divided into four parts...

One is abstract and conceptual, which is "uniqueness", and the rest are three Sequence 1 Beyonder characteristics. If not, when someone becomes a god, the corresponding Beyonder path will no longer have Sequence 1...

Would one or two of these Sequence 1 Beyonder characteristics also be drawn into the sealed room? This should be one of the reasons why the "Blasphemy Card" was attracted here! The more Klein thought about it, the more he felt that he had underestimated the evil spirit before.

As expected of the angels who were promoted from “conspirators”… Klein, who was standing under the tree, manipulated Senior and spoke:

“Maybe it’s a ritual.

"Things related to the Blood Emperor Alistair Tudor must be of a very high level."

Sharon listened quietly and added:

"Soren, Einhorn, Medici..."

From the details requested by the evil spirit, Miss Sharon also suspected that the three high-backed chairs in this room once belonged to different angels... Klein thought for a moment and took the initiative to reveal it through Senior's mouth:

"'Blood Emperor' Alistair Tudor should be the true god of the 'Hunter' path, and the blasphemous card he represents is 'Red Priest'."

Sharon was silent for a few seconds, and then seemed to understand something, and said:

"That card is gone."

She was referring to the "Red Priest" card that the evil spirit had displayed.

"Perhaps the evil spirit had already escaped before the Nighthawks and the Mechanical Heart destroyed this place." Klein expressed his guess, "and it took away all the extraordinary characteristics here and the Red Priest card."

Sharon looked around silently and said:

"It's very sneaky. It won't leave such obvious clues."

That's right. The Beyonder characteristics outside the sealed room are obviously not at Sequence 4. For an evil spirit that was once the King of Angels, there is no attraction. The same is true for the "Red Priest" card... It is understandable that it took away the things in the room, but why didn't it leave even a little residue? It's like saying to others, "Haha, I lied to you, I have successfully escaped, come and hunt me down if you have the guts"... Wait, maybe this is exactly what it wants to say! Klein thought about it, and suddenly felt amused and asked Senior to speak:

“No, being cunning doesn’t mean leaving no clues.

"Sequence 8 of the Hunter pathway is called Provocateur."

At this moment, the image of the "Red Angel" that appeared in his mind was pasted with a photo of Anderson Hood.

Sharon listened silently, her mouth slightly open, but she said nothing.

Similarly, Klein was silent for a moment, feeling that the Beyonders of the Hunter Path had a very distinctive style.

In comparison, the red-haired Elaine doesn't look like a member of the Soran family at all.

However, she was still very talented in provoking Lieutenant General of Disease... Well, the members of the Soran family also pissed off the emperor to death... Klein exhaled silently and complained in his heart.

The silent atmosphere was soon broken by Klein. His puppet, Senior, glanced around and made a joke:

"Maybe that's why they were caught here."

"Who is helping Alistair Tudor?" Sharon asked in a transparent and illusory voice, but she didn't seem to expect an answer.

“Maybe it’s the Six Gods… Klein” thought of the six statues in the hall outside.

However, he soon wavered:

“However, the Seven Gods support the Terensost Empire, and Soren and Einhorn are both great nobles of this empire.

"Of course, we cannot rule out the possibility that we supported Tudor at first, but then broke up with him because he went crazy."

If it wasn't the Six Gods, did it mean that there were other gods supporting Alistair Tudor? Who could it be? Klein thought silently.

Sharon didn't stop, her figure floated up, floated to the ground, and returned to the big tree.

Klein collected Senio's vengeful spirit and let it enter the gold coins in the iron cigarette box. Then he asked casually:

"In fact, I have always been curious about where the power of pure evil spirits and resentful souls without extraordinary characteristics comes from."

"The spirit world," Sharon answered simply.

The extraordinary characteristics are conserved, but the source of extraordinary power is not necessarily? Well, it is also possible that the spiritual world itself is the product of some extraordinary characteristics... Klein nodded, looked at the soil under his feet and said:

"I will continue to investigate the whereabouts of the evil spirit. If I find anything, I will let you know."

He planned to turn around and ask the "Magic Mirror" Arrodes.

Having said that, he took out a pen and a notepad, quickly wrote down the method for summoning his messenger, and handed it over:

"If you have anything, you can write to me."

Sharon took the paper, looked at it carefully and said:

“I’m at the Brave Bar.

"Letters may be sent to 126 Gard Street, Hillston, addressed to Mrs. Maria."

"Okay." Klein put the pen in his pocket and used the ritual silver dagger to create a spiritual wall in front of Sharon, sealing the iron cigarette box again.

Then, he hailed a horse-drawn carriage in a gentlemanly manner on another street and sent Sharon all the way back to the Backlund Bridge area.

After doing all this, he returned to the high-end hotel he rented in Hillston District. On the way, he changed his appearance and took a carriage.

…………

Bayam, inside the Seaweed Bar.

After drifting on the sea for a while, Danitz once again set foot in the "City of Generosity" to help the rebels coordinate some affairs.

He pulled his cap down and sat in the corner of the bar, ready to listen to the latest rumors first, so as to avoid losing his bounty due to untimely and inaccurate intelligence.

Just then, he heard an adventurer next to him say to his companion:

"Do you think Gehrman Sparrow will find someone to collect the bounty for the Blood Admiral?"

Huh? Danitz subconsciously raised his head and looked at the speaker in confusion.
