June summary and monthly ticket request

Novel.com..org, the fastest update of the latest chapters of Lord of Mysteries!

I went on a trip in June and updated my novel only once every fourteen days. As a result, everyone still ranked Guimi first in the monthly votes, and it has always been second on the best-selling list. I was really moved and ashamed.

You guys are so tolerant of my willfulness and have been so kind to me. Throughout June, the highest 24-hour subscription rose to over 55,000. Even after that, even though it fell due to the slowdown of the plot, it still remained at just over 50,000. It has been going back and forth like this, up and down. Well, since the release of Weird Mystery, the overall trend of subscription has been on the rise, usually because the plot has increased significantly, then fell slightly, fluctuated within a certain range, and then repeated this process.

The plot and picture structure of the foggy town are what I have anticipated for a long time. I am very happy that everyone is satisfied with it. The ending of the fourth part is also the picture that appeared at the beginning of the book. I hope that I can truly write out the feeling of "The undead, a gift or a curse" by then. Maybe it is not necessary to point out the topic directly, and it is enough to depict that picture. Of course, there are still many chapters to write about this.

The biggest writing feeling this month was exhaustion. When traveling, I got up at 7 o'clock in the morning and didn't get back to the hotel until 7 or 8 o'clock in the evening. I had time to write. Fortunately, I could take a nap in the car. Otherwise, I would not be yawning while writing every day, but I would not be able to write at all. However, going out for a trip and relaxing did improve the mental tension and depression caused by staying at home for a long time. After I came back, I felt that I had written several chapters at a high level.

Of course, I definitely collected materials. If I write about a foreign city-state in the future, I will write that the sign of the brothel there is a protruding stone on the door, symbolizing **. Most of the prostitutes there were plundered in wars, so they couldn't speak the language. In order to call customers and greet the sailors arriving at the port, they all imitated the howling of a she-wolf. The brothel was also called a wolf's den. By writing in this way, the atmosphere and texture of the whole foreign land came out. Well, I heard all this in Pompeii. There seemed to be only three or four official tour guides who could speak Chinese. It sounded pretty good, but the price was a bit expensive. It would be more cost-effective if there were more people, because they were charged by the hour.

Well, back to the topic of tiredness. This is not just the case when traveling, but also after returning. After the start of the fourth part, this is a common feeling, because the whole story is getting bigger and bigger, and I don’t want to be like the previous Arcane and I, just focusing on the protagonist, rushing all the way to the end. I still hope to make the many interesting characters I wrote before fuller, more vivid, and more involved in the world. In addition, the life of a rich man must be mostly banquets, meetings, and conversations. There must be enough brewing and preparation to erupt into a plot with conflicts and great tension. Therefore, the perspective change, character participation, and daily writing always make me rack my brains, and I can’t control it with ease, and I seem to be tired most of the time.

In addition to these reasons, this is also an inevitable state that will appear after a book has been written for more than a year. Procrastination becomes more and more serious, it takes longer to concentrate, I finish writing later and later every day, and fatigue accumulates more and more. It has even happened twice before. I don’t know when I turned off the alarm clock, and I slept until noon and almost didn’t update.

For now, it seems that I can only put what I said before on the agenda and take one day off a week.

My plan is this: I will take a rest on Sunday, but I will divide the two chapters on Saturday into one chapter on Sunday. In other words, I will update only once on both days of the weekend, both at 12:30 noon. The rest of the time will be normal.

In this way, if there are any more leave due to writer's block or going out, they will be made up. The first extra chapter for the monthly ticket in June will be put in the later part of July when the plot is more exciting.

Well, it’s July now, and I’m begging for the guaranteed monthly ticket with a serious attitude~ The chapter has been updated in advance, there will be no update at noon, and the second one will be at 7 o’clock in the evening.

Also, please vote for recommendations on Monday!
