Jian Ci quickly closed the computer and called Qin Shizheng again.

"Fifth brother, why are you suddenly stopping the investigation?" Bai Wenjin asked from the other end of the line. "I just set up the surveillance cameras and the checkpoints on the ramp not long ago. If you say you won't investigate, all my efforts will go to waste."
The car was so quiet that the voice on the phone could be heard clearly inside the car.
Jian Ci slowly opened her eyes.

Then he saw Jian Ci reaching out to him.
He immediately handed over the phone.
