Chapter 25 Su Yue: "This fortress should belong to me."

Another batch of Tier 1 combat dwarves perished. This occurred while Su Yue was sweeping through resources and waiting for Jin Xiuer, the tavern, and the supply depot within his territory.

Europa suddenly whispered, "Master, there are signs of a high-level enemy nearby."

Su Yue, riding his white horse, revealed a sharp glint in his eyes and chuckled, "Oh? How many people?"

Surrounded by hundreds of "Tier 1 soldiers," he leisurely tightened the reins. Beyond the forest, a vast plain suddenly opened up his view!

"You have been ambushed by a dwarf lord and encountered a Swarm (large): 250-499 enemies."

If you're playing Heroes of Might and Magic, then you'll be given the option to fight or run away.

But Su Yue merely pursed his lips slightly, a half-smile appearing on his face. The flags of Europa and the territory beside him fluttered in the wind. Su Yue tightened the reins, the horse's hooves rose, and he waved his hand: "Attack!"

"Trying to attack after being ambushed? You're asking for death!"

Loire Bragg looked at the handsome white-horse lord with a smile. "Redbeard, has he entered the range of the organ cannon?"

The dwarven organ cannon has a range of 350 meters. After adjusting the parameters, he squinted and smiled:

"Let me give you a big gift first."

The gears and rudder-like angles of the organ-like cannons began to adjust, and then, a thunderous sound and the four cannon barrels resounded through the sky like an organ.

A huge cannonball was hurled at Su Yue.

Loire Bragg did not think that a single shot would be enough to take down the enemy lord, but the white horse lord general did not flinch at all.

Judging from their appearance, they seem to be from China or Japan.

"Even people with Asian features have come here to cause trouble."

Another dwarf player lord named Dong Sifu sneered.

"Fire!"

"boom!!!"

The numerous dwarven lords were scattered in various corners, all watching as Loire's organ cannon fired first, the shot hitting the very spot where the White Horse Lord was.

The shells whistled through the sky, leaving trails of smoke and dust.

A dark mass of ragtag troops charged towards them from the mountains and forests.

"Hit?"

The gray-bearded dwarf lord, Dong Sifu, looked bewildered.

Several dwarven scouts from the Empire were also watching the battle from the sidelines.

A battle involving nearly a thousand people can be considered a small-scale campaign.

"What happened?"

The cannonball landed precisely on the White Horse Lord, following the cannon of the third-tier organ gunner.

Gray smoke and dust exploded!

The White Horse Lord actually took a hit from an organ cannon?! After the gray mist dissipated, he was completely unharmed? His skin was still fair and delicate, and his domineering figure stood proudly on his horse. His uniquely human face and sense of majesty seemed to gleam with a murderous light and a certain calm in his brown pupils!

"Completely unharmed?! How is that possible?"

"He took a direct hit from an organ cannon and didn't even react?"

"Could it be some kind of high-level NPC? War is ruthless and merciless. Even fourth or fifth-tier creatures would be injured if they took a siege-level organ cannon like this, right?"

Dong Sifu stared blankly, while the dwarven scouts nearby faithfully recorded the information. A dwarf member of the oversight team behind him said, "This guy is definitely suspicious."

"Did you see it clearly?"

"The smoke was too thick; I couldn't see anything. But don't you think this ragtag army's formation is a bit too orderly?"

Logically, their understanding of a human lord's ragtag army should be that of a scattered, disorganized charge! However, the white horse human lord before them commanded cavemen (humans), rogues (humans), big-eared monsters (orcs), and half-orcs, many of whom were supposedly neutral units, or even not human units at all. A clash in morale was inevitable.

It's understandable that they might blindly follow orders, or even fail to understand their lord's commands.

But this guy in front of me commands his troops with incredible skill. He's managed to command a ragtag army of Tier 1 soldiers with the aura of a Tier 3 elite force!

"He must be a high-ranking nobleman in the human empire!"

"If we catch him, we'll have done a great job."

Abbott Bodu stood with his overseers and dwarven scouts, their brows furrowed.

As a lord of the Northern Fortress's leadership level, he said, "No, they're moving a bit too fast!"

"Yeah, aren't all Tier 1 units slow? How could they march this fast!"

Before they could even react.

The first batch of dwarven warriors, first-tier dwarven soldiers and two Chosen Lords, have already led their army to clash with that motley crew of cavemen!

Taking advantage of the high ground, the dwarven crossbow bolts flew towards the group of Tier 1 troops.

It can attack from a distance, yet the damage it causes is extremely limited?

The crossbow bolts, when they struck the group of slovenly cavemen, produced a metallic, clanging sound!

"Armor!?"

"Damn it, this guy has put armor on all the Tier 1 units!"

On player forums, a full set of Tier 1 armor costs 1000 gold coins, yet the densely packed caveman troops before them were all wearing rusty, worn-out silver armor! Although the armor's strength was probably limited due to corrosion and it wasn't shiny, it still gleamed with a cold light as the battle unfolded!

"This guy is incredibly rich! If we defeat him and strip him of all that armor and weapons, we'll definitely make a fortune!"

Loire Prague looked at the scene and realized that things were getting complicated.

First, the organ cannons aimed at the White Horse Lord, but the bombardment failed. Then, the long-range fire was blocked. Now, the armies clashed! The sound was like a torrent of steel, and keep in mind, the troops leading the charge were all Tier 2 units! Even Henriette von Godwin and Donsef, as lords, personally led the charge, yet they couldn't suppress the Tier 1 troops!?

Unable to suppress a group of cavemen?

"boom!"

The two torrents of steel collided, and the force of thousands could be considered a small-scale battle.

Su Yue laughed. He had previously collected over 300 sets of Tier 1 and Tier 2 armor, and sold 150 sets to other players on the player trading auction house, earning 300,000 gold coins. Now he had nearly 200 sets of armor remaining (50 sets of which he had just plundered), which he was wearing.

The cavemen are now likely at the level of true elite second-tier units.

He was not afraid of losing the battle.

Archangels can fly.

We can simply abandon this ragtag army. Besides, once Europa, this ninth-tier subordinate, makes her appearance, the morale of the entire enemy force will collapse—that would be too boring.

Therefore, the battle before them is an extremely difficult one for these dwarf lord players!

The moment the battle began, the human enemy displayed a certain indestructible quality.

But for Su Yue, the supreme ruler, it was just a game.

He rode a white horse, gazing at the vast mountain range above the distant plains... The mountain range was easy to defend and difficult to attack, with only many narrow ramps leading to the summit.

"This fortress should belong to me."
