Gu Jueye and Bai Qianmo arrived at the stone gate, their eyes falling on the handprint.
Gu Jueye slowly raised his hand and pressed it down.
However, after waiting for a while, the stone gate still did not react at all.
The man in black looked at Yin Heng: "It wasn't him?"
Yin Heng also looked surprised.
This is the tomb of the King of Qi, and Gu Jueye, as a descendant of the King of Qi, how could he not be him?
Who else could it be but him?
Just as everyone was puzzled, Gu Jueye reached out and took Bai Qianmo's hand.
Bai Qianmo was startled and glanced at him sideways.
Gu Jueye used telepathy to send her a message.
"Put your hand on it."
Bai Qianmo was puzzled. Why did she put her hand on it?
But she still reached out.
Gu Jueye held his breath and waited.
Suddenly, a very crisp "click" sound came from the silent space.
Immediately, the Thousand Gold Stone Gate began to slowly move to both sides.
Everyone present was shocked.
"Bai Qianmo is the one who opened the stone gate?"
"Just who is she?"
While everyone was wondering, Gu Jueye seized the opportunity.
When the stone door opened wide enough for them to enter, he suddenly pulled Bai Qianmo and quickly dodged away.
The two figures quickly disappeared outside the stone gate.
"Oh no, they want to go in by themselves."
"Quick, go in quickly."
Yin Heng, Jiang Xiaoyu, and the man in black all crowded around.
But after Gu Jueye and Bai Qianmo left, the stone gate slowly closed.
"Bang"
A cloud of dust billowed up, and Yin Heng, his face ashen, kicked the stone door hard.
"Damn it, Xu Changchong, I won't let you get away with this. Get the explosives, I'm going to blow this damn stone gate up."
The man in black said, "This stone door is made of a special material that explosives simply cannot destroy."
Yin Heng looked resentful.
He had waited for over a hundred years for this moment.
He was unwilling to accept that he hadn't even gone through that door.
Just a door away
After Bai Qianmo and Gu Jueye entered the stone gate, they began to observe the situation inside with flashlights.
Upon seeing the full view inside, Bai Qianmo was shocked.
"This is actually a burial chamber?"
The tomb chamber should be about 100 square meters in size, with a circular platform in the center, and the coffin is placed on the platform.
Stone mythical beasts were placed in the eight directions of the high platform.
The structure and construction of this tomb chamber give people a very grand and imposing feeling.
In particular, the eight mythical beasts gathered around the coffin subtly revealed the majestic aura of the coffin's owner.
Gu Jueye walked slowly towards the high platform, and Bai Qianmo followed him up after walking around the area.
"Fifth Brother, whose grave is this?"
Gu Jueye walked to the coffin, his expression calm and serene, and slowly touched the gilded dragon and phoenix carving on the coffin.
"It is the tomb of the King of Qi."
"King Qi? This is King Qi's tomb? What about the one outside?"
"That's a fake tomb. Its purpose is to confuse people and protect the peace of the Qi King's tomb. Over the centuries, many people have come to the Qi King's tomb to rob it. However, the tomb has a complex structure and is located deep in the ground. Ordinary tomb robbers can't even get into the tomb before they die."
Bai Qianmo had personally experienced the structure of the Qi King's tomb. If the Mo family hadn't dug the tunnel in advance, they wouldn't have been able to get in so easily.
As Bai Qianmo was pondering, her gaze suddenly fell on the pair of gilded dragons and phoenixes carved on the coffin. Between the dragon and the phoenix was a red bead, which she noticed was inlaid.
"Fifth Brother, look here. This bead is real."
Gu Jueye withdrew his gaze and looked at Bai Qianmo.
"Qianmo, do you know who you really are?"
Bai Qianmo was stunned. Who was she?
She was Bai Qianmo, but when the thought flashed through her mind, even she herself had a slight doubt.
Why does she possess energy that earthlings do not have? Why is her brain and blood different from ordinary people?
These are all things she can't understand.
"Who am I?" She looked up at Gu Jueye.
Gu Jueye did not answer the question, his gaze fixed on the red bead.
He slowly reached out and pressed down on the bead.
A buzzing sound rang out, followed by a violent shaking of the ground.
Bai Qianmo stared in astonishment at everything that was happening before her eyes.
She felt that an ultimate truth seemed to be right before her eyes.
The coffin lid slowly opened.
Gu Jueye held up a flashlight and led Bai Qianmo by the hand to the coffin.
When she saw what was inside the coffin, she was so shocked that she couldn't say a word for a long time.
Two lifelike corpses lay in the coffin. They were dressed in red. The man had handsome features and a beautiful face, while the woman was graceful and exquisite.
They lay quietly in the coffins, their faces showing a very peaceful expression.
Their hands were clasped together, like a loving couple fast asleep.
However, what shocked Bai Qianmo was not the two corpses in the coffin, but that the two corpses looked exactly like her and Gu Jueye.
"What exactly is going on?" Bai Qianmo asked Gu Jueye.
"Fifth Brother, you've been hiding many things from me."
He knew everything about the Qi King's tomb. He knew that the hand on the stone door belonged to her, so he had planned to quickly slip in with her when the stone door was wide open.
What's even more puzzling is that he also knew there were two corpses in the coffin.
