After An An left, Bai Qianmo sat alone in front of the dressing table and realized that An An hadn't had time to draw her eyebrows yet.
She pulled a pen out of a pile of cosmetics and examined it closely.
Ultimately, I'm not entirely sure whether it's an eyebrow pencil or an eyeliner...
Actually, she's not very good at makeup; she usually just wears a natural, bare-faced look.
Compared to professionals, her skills are really nothing to brag about.
But for now, we'll just have to make do.
I picked up a small mirror to draw my eyebrows, when suddenly a figure appeared in the mirror.
Bai Qianmo subconsciously looked over.
The man at the door was looking at her. He was dressed in black clothes and black pants, with a black baseball cap on his head. He was dressed casually, and the baseball cap was pulled down low, so only half of his face could be seen.
Yet his overall demeanor felt strangely familiar.
"Lord Gu?" Bai Qianmo called out Gu Jueye almost subconsciously.
The man slightly raised his eyelids and looked at Bai Qianmo.
"How did you end up here?" Bai Qianmo's face was full of surprise.
Holding a small mirror in one hand and an eyebrow pencil in the other, she got up and walked towards him.
"Visiting the set," Gu Jueye answered truthfully.
Bai Qianmo frowned slightly. Could it be that they came to visit her on set?
But then I thought, he just brought her here last night, why is he visiting the set so soon?
Is he very free?
Gu Jueye didn't explain anything further, his gaze falling on her eyebrows.
Where is the makeup artist?
Bai Qianmo snapped out of her thoughts: "I was temporarily transferred to another place."
Gu Jueye nodded in response, and the two of them stood facing each other in the empty dressing room, where they were the only two people present.
A lone man and a lone woman, with an ambiguous and unclear relationship, suddenly felt that the atmosphere around them was somewhat ambiguous.
Bai Qianmo didn't dare to look him in the eye. She took two steps back and only remembered what she wanted to say when she saw the empty chair next to her.
"Please have a seat."
The man stared at her intently for a moment: "Your makeup is beautiful, but the lack of eyebrows makes it look a bit strange."
Bai Qianmo said lightly, "I can't help it, I'm afraid I'll mess it up, I don't know where to start."
The man smiled and reached out to take the eyebrow pencil from her hand.
He took her hand and led her back to the vanity.
Bai Qianmo stared at him with a puzzled look: "What is this...?"
The man gently straightened her face, moved closer to her, and began to gently trace the shape of her eyebrows with the eyebrow pencil in his hand.
The two were almost face to face, their warm breaths clearly falling on each other's faces.
Bai Qianmo tensed up as she looked at the divine face so close to her.
A cry from the heart.
Good heavens, this monster is tempting people to commit crimes again.
"alright!"
The man withdrew his hand, leaned against the dressing table, and looked at it with a playful smile.
Bai Qianmo lifted her eyelids, glanced at Gu Jueye first, and then thought of her eyebrows.
She actually trusted him to draw her eyebrows.
Indeed, it is easy to lose one's senses when faced with beauty.
She hurriedly picked up a small mirror and glanced at herself. She saw that her slightly upturned eyebrows and her somewhat sharp makeup complemented each other perfectly.
"You actually know how to do makeup?" Bai Qianmo tilted her head and looked at him with surprise.
"No, it's just that when I was little, I often saw my grandfather helping my grandmother draw her eyebrows."
I remember the old man telling me to learn it, because I'd need it sooner or later.
Surprisingly, it actually came in handy.
"Qianmo, get ready, we're about to start filming."
Someone called from outside the door. Bai Qianmo responded and turned to look at the man in front of her.
"I'm going to the photo studio, will you come to see me?"
A hint of doting affection shone through the man's deep, unfathomable eyes.
You want me to go?
Bai Qianmo was stunned for a moment.
He thought to himself, since he came to visit me on set, I can't just let him stay in the dressing room forever, can I?
Moreover, most of the people here are actresses, so it wouldn't be convenient for a grown man like him to be there.
"Let's go take a look; it should be more interesting than staying here."
Gu Jueye nodded: "You go first, I'll follow later."
Bai Qianmo looked up at him and felt her heart pounding wildly again, just like that night.
She dared not look at him any longer and hurriedly got up to leave.
Suddenly, her wrist tightened, and Bai Qianmo was forced to be pulled back again.
"Bai Qianmo, keep it up!" The man smiled.
For some reason, when he called her by her full name, his voice was incredibly sexy.
Enchanting and profound, it disturbed a pool of spring water.
Bai Qianmo nodded blankly, her heart, which was already pounding, now felt like it was about to jump out of her chest.
This unfamiliar feeling made her somewhat flustered.
She withdrew her hand and lowered her eyes slightly: "I'm leaving now."
After saying that, he didn't look at Gu Jueye again, turned around and ran out in a hurry.
Watching Bai Qianmo's retreating figure, the smile on Gu Jueye's face gradually disappeared.
After dropping her off yesterday, he had a vague feeling that the little girl's attitude towards him had changed.
Previously, she was distant and polite, yet also wary and resentful of him.
The hug he gave before parting yesterday was not only an instinctive impulse, but also a test.
No matter how well someone disguises themselves, they will always slip up at some point.
But last night her behavior was too natural; all I could see in her eyes was surprise and the shyness of a little girl.
This put away the last shred of doubt in his heart.
Perhaps she truly doesn't remember anything.
