Gu Zhizhou looked bewildered: "You didn't hear me wrong?"
Qin Lin glared at Gu Zhizhou: "My ears aren't deaf yet. The conversation on the other end of the phone was quite loud. I heard it all clearly."
“This is good news! Haven’t you been hoping he would find someone soon? You’ve been telling me all along that the young man from the Cheng family next door got married at twenty-five and his son can already call them grandpa and grandma this year.”
“That’s true, but… we can’t explain this to Qian Ning. Over the years, our Gu family and the Ye family have maintained close ties, always hoping that Qian Ning and A Ye could get together.
