Outside the gate of No. 1 Middle School
A familiar black sedan was parked on the side of the road.
A young man leaned against the car, a cigarette between his fingers, taking a few puffs now and then, and occasionally glancing at the students walking out one after another.
Because of the man's striking appearance, the students all looked at him as he stood there.
The female students, in particular, clearly had "lovestruck" written all over their faces.
"Who is that man? He's so handsome!"
"He's so handsome, even more handsome than the two most handsome guys in our school."
"Looks like they're waiting for someone. Could it be a student's parent?"
A little girl with heart-shaped eyes said, "He's so handsome and young, he must be my older brother. Anyway, please don't let him be my boyfriend, otherwise I'll be heartbroken after just having a crush on him."
As Gu Hongxun stepped out the door, he immediately noticed his esteemed seventh uncle.
My heart skipped a beat, and I felt the hairs on my body stand on end.
Why did Uncle Qi come to No. 1 Middle School?
"Seventh Uncle, what are you doing here?"
Gu Jueye took a drag of his cigarette, the wisps of smoke partially obscuring his handsome face.
"Picking someone up." He replied casually.
Gu Hongxun was startled. Could it be that his seventh uncle had come to pick him up?
Yesterday at his seventh uncle's birthday banquet, he clearly sensed that he had upset his seventh uncle.
Although afterwards I still couldn't understand why Uncle Qi was angry, I couldn't understand why Uncle Qi would protect that idiot Bai Qianmo.
However, he was well aware of his Seventh Uncle's vengeful nature.
Thinking of this, Gu Hongxun broke out in a cold sweat.
"Seventh Uncle, I know I was wrong. Please forgive me this time. I promise I will never do it again."
Gu Hongxun slumped his head down like an ostrich.
Gu Jueye glanced at Gu Hongxun indifferently, took the last puff of his cigarette, stubbed it out, and handed it to Gu Hongxun.
Upon seeing the cigarette butt, Gu Hongxun, without saying a word, instinctively reached out and took it, then turned and ran happily to the trash can, throwing the cigarette butt inside.
"Isn't that our school heartthrob Gu Hongxun? He's with that handsome guy."
"Is that handsome guy Gu Hongxun's brother?"
"They're all so handsome, it's highly likely they are."
"My God, I thought Gu Hongxun was handsome enough, but his brother's looks and the aura he exudes are much more handsome than Gu Hongxun's."
Gu Hongxun had no interest in listening to the girls' chatter. He threw away his cigarette butt and obediently ran back to Gu Jueye.
He stared at his seventh uncle with cautious eyes.
Gu Jueye was casually wiping his slender fingers with a handkerchief.
Seeing that Gu Jueye remained silent for a long time and showed no intention of reprimanding him, Gu Hongxun became increasingly uneasy.
"Seventh Uncle..."
Gu Jueye's gaze then fell upon him.
"Tell me where you went wrong?"
Gu Hongxun smiled bitterly to himself. At the banquet yesterday, he had only mocked Bai Qianmo; he hadn't done anything else.
But he didn't believe that Seventh Uncle was making things difficult for him because of Bai Qianmo. Could it be that he stole Seventh Uncle's thunder at Seventh Uncle's birthday banquet?
"Seventh Uncle, I shouldn't have said those things at your birthday banquet, and I shouldn't have tried to show off. I will definitely correct my behavior in the future."
Gu Jueye stared at Gu Hongxun for a moment, then pinched the bridge of his nose.
That's incredibly stupid.
Just then
A figure slowly walking out of the door caught Gu Jueye's attention.
Bai Qianmo walked out of the gate and found that many students were still gathered at the entrance, which puzzled her.
Previously, as soon as the school bell rang, most students would immediately run away, as if a monster was chasing them in the school.
Why are there so many people gathered outside the school today?
When Bai Qianmo saw the man standing by the roadside, she immediately understood.
So it turns out this walking heartbreaker has arrived.
Seeing Bai Qianmo walk out of the school gate, Gu Jueye ignored Gu Hongxun and walked straight to Bai Qianmo.
"My lord, what brings you here?" Bai Qianmo felt a little flustered as she was surrounded by people.
"Grandpa Bai asked me to pick you up from school, let's go."
Bai Yitang appeared from behind.
"My grandfather? Why would my grandfather send you to pick us up? And when did you and my grandfather become so close?"
Gu Jueye glanced at him coldly: "You can walk back too."
"Let's go." Seeing that there were too many people at the school gate, Bai Qianmo grabbed Gu Jueye's sleeve and walked towards the car.
Bai Yitang didn't care about anything.
Bai Yitang snorted coldly in anger, glancing at Gu Jueye and Bai Qianmo's retreating figures.
"Since it was my grandfather who sent you to pick me up, why shouldn't I take a free ride?"
He muttered something to himself, and seeing Bai Qianmo get into the car, he immediately followed.
The car sped away, leaving Gu Hongxun, bewildered in the wind, and the other astonished students behind.
Is Seventh Uncle here to pick up Bai Qianmo?
Seventh Uncle and Bai Qianmo?
Is there really something going on between those two?
Thinking back to last night outside the banquet hall restroom, he had condescendingly mocked Bai Qianmo.
Not only did he say that his seventh uncle wouldn't even glance at a girl like her, but he also mocked her for trying every means to get close to him because she had a crush on him.
Thinking about it now, my face suddenly feels a sharp pain...

The car was parked outside the alley.
Bai Yitang got off the car first.
Bai Qianmo sat in the passenger seat, unbuckled her seatbelt, picked up her schoolbag, and got out of the car with Gu Jueye.
After watching Bai Yitang enter the house, Bai Qianmo turned her head to look at the man beside her.
