Yuan You touched his smooth chin: "Maybe our boss is using the same methods he uses for scientific research to woo girls?"
"What's the meaning?"

After Gu Jueye was left alone in the office, he made a phone call to Gu Jingyu.
"Please help arrange a patient for the respiratory department of the Second Hospital tonight."
Gu Jingyu looked puzzled: "Who's sick?"
"Young lady's friend, please help her make the contact as soon as possible. The patient's family will contact you later."
Gu Jingyu immediately realized that his seventh uncle would only call Bai Qianmo "little girl" in private.
"So you're Aunt Qi's friend. Don't worry, Uncle Qi, I'll treat Aunt Qi's friend like a VIP and make sure they come in a hurry and leave happily."
"That's fine then."
Gu Jueye didn't want to listen to Gu Jingyu continue arguing, so he hung up the phone.
"Hanged up on me again? That's incredibly rude."
Yin Ling leaned against the hospital bed, slowly peeling an orange, and couldn't help but glance at Gu Jingyu with disdain.

The spirit grabbed a cushion from behind and tried to throw it at him, but Gu Jingyu rushed forward, grabbed the cushion with one hand, and tapped the spirit's leg with the other.
"Hiss!" The spirit cried out in pain, opening its mouth to curse.
Gu Jingyu laughed and said, "Don't move around too much. Your leg is in a cast. If you move around and the bone gets dislocated, you'll be a cripple for the rest of your life."
"You're lame my ass."
"I'm sorry, I don't have a sister, let alone a sister who is lame. If you're willing to acknowledge me as your brother, I can reluctantly accept it."
The spirit tried to pull the pillow back, but it dared not use its legs and could only rely on the strength of its arms. It struggled for a long time but could not pull it back.
"I didn't expect you to be so strong despite your thin frame." Yin Ling glanced at Gu Jingyu with some surprise.
Gu Jingyu chuckled: "Dealing with a short-tempered girl like you is more than enough."
"You...you get out of here! I'm applying to change doctors tomorrow, so get out of here right now..."

Seeing Yin Lingqi's cheeks puff up high, Gu Jingyu smiled with delight.

Just then, the phone rang. Gu Jingyu pulled his hand away from the pillow and took out his phone to answer the call.

After hanging up the phone, Gu Jingyu squinted and stared at the Yin Spirit for a moment.

The spirit blinked, which was taken as agreement.
Gu Jingyu counted to three, then slowly stood up. At the same time, he withdrew the hand that had been covering the Yin Spirit's mouth. The warmth and dampness of her breath still lingered in his palm. His heart tingled, and he was momentarily lost in thought.
Seizing the opportunity, the spirit swung a pillow and smashed it hard against Gu Jingyu's head: "You dare to take advantage of me? You're dead!"
Inside the ward, the girl's aggressive voice and the man's amused and exasperated argument could be heard.

Bai Qianmo stared blankly for a while, feeling sleepy, before temporarily putting her chaotic thoughts aside.
Just as I was getting ready for bed, my phone suddenly rang.
I checked the caller ID; it was an unknown number.
The call came at this hour, so it probably wasn't a promotional call. I hesitated for a moment before pressing the answer button.
On the other end of the phone, there was the sound of whistling wind and cars speeding by.
"Hello?" Bai Qianmo spoke up first.
After a long silence, a stubborn male voice finally came from the other end.
"That's me!"
"Bai Luoyu?" Why is he calling at this hour?
"I need to talk to you about something. You don't need to say anything, just listen. Tonight I saw Zhang Yafei, that big star from your Jiashang Media, at a friend's party. I overheard her talking on the phone with someone. It seems she's planning to make things difficult for you and embarrass you at some banquet tomorrow night. You... you'd better be careful."
Bai Qianmo raised her eyebrows slightly, looking somewhat surprised.
