Meeting room
A dozen or so young men and women were having a lively conversation.
"I heard that this agent was poached from Hesong Capital? Apparently, he made several A-list stars famous while he was at Hesong."
"I've heard about it too. I think her name is Su... Su Peishan. You guys said she was doing so well at Hesong, why did she suddenly switch to Jiashang?"
A cute-looking boy fiddled with his pen and said with a gossipy smile, "I heard from a friend at Hesong that Su Peishan and the boss of Hesong had an ambiguous relationship. Later, the boss's wife privately reprimanded her, and she probably felt too embarrassed, so she resigned."

Bai Qianmo sat at the very back of the desk, listening to what the others were saying.
Su Peishan is 27 years old and a veteran of Hesong Media. She has worked at Hesong for six years and is considered one of the company's top agents, on par with Zhou Mei in the entertainment industry.
It's hard to believe that someone like that would come to Jiashang Media to mentor newcomers unless there were special circumstances.

"Director Zhou, you wanted to see me?" A tall figure pushed open the door to Zhou Mei's office and walked in, her five-centimeter high heels clicking as she entered.
Zhou Mei got up from her seat, took a paper cup, and went to the water dispenser to fill a cup of water for the other person.
"Peishan, please sit down."
"Thanks!"
Su Peishan quickly glanced at Zhou Mei. Back when they were at Hesong, the two of them had often secretly competed over resources.
Unexpectedly, fortunes turned around, and she ended up having to come to Jiashang to avoid losing her job.
Thinking about my recent experiences, I felt a little self-deprecating.
Zhou Mei handed the water to Su Peishan and glanced at her with a smile.

Because of the past conflict between the two, Su Peishan is now living under someone else's roof. Since she has to rely on Zhou Mei, she has to lower her stance a bit.

"I'm relieved to hear you say that." Zhou Mei took a sip of water from her glass.
"By the way, Peishan, do you understand all the artists under your management?"
"I understand. There are 12 new members in total. Two of them have already debuted, and the remaining ten are trainees who just joined the company."
"Yes, the company plans to select four trainees from this batch to be trained intensively for three months. There's only a little over a month left. You need to keep this in mind and make sure you identify which trainees are best suited to meet the needs of the market and the public."
Su Peishan nodded: "Currently, three trainees have joined the group one after another. One of them is a girl named Bai Qianmo.
