Humiliated by Xia Wei, Li Jiangyuan felt a surge of anger. He clenched his fists tightly, his voice cold.
"Xia Wei, you've become so unreasonable. Seeing you like this really breaks my heart."
After leaving the audition room, Yu Qianqian searched for a while in the rest area, but did not see Li Jiangyuan. Her gaze then wandered around the corners of the room.
When he saw Li Jiangyuan standing with Xia Wei, he walked quickly toward them with a cold face.
Bai Qianmo noticed a figure walking towards them, her wise eyes flickered slightly, and she spoke in a deep voice.
“Li Jiangyuan, even if you can’t forget Xia Wei, you shouldn’t keep bothering her. Xia Wei isn’t the kind of person who would steal someone else’s partner.”
Li Jiangyuan was taken aback, as if someone had seen through his darkest thoughts. He awkwardly avoided Xia Wei's gaze, a hint of guilt flashing in his eyes hidden behind his sunglasses.
He truly couldn't forget Xia Wei, so as soon as Yu Qianqian left, he couldn't control his heart and walked towards Xia Wei.
Even knowing he would face ridicule and sarcasm, he still couldn't control his wandering heart.
He defended Yu Qianqian in front of Xia Wei, but deep down he knew that he just wanted to find topics to talk about with Xia Wei. He was also constantly reminding himself that since he had already let Xia Wei down, he couldn't let Yu Qianqian down as well.
But when he sees Xia Wei, his gaze still involuntarily falls on her, and the flutter in his heart remains.
He even selfishly thought, how wonderful it would be if the system were like that of ancient times.
That way, he could have both of them at the same time.
He had always hoped that when Xia Wei was forced into a corner by He Song, he would lend a helping hand. This way, he could not only make up for his mistakes, but also make Xia Wei unable to leave him.

Xia Wei couldn't see through him, but Bai Qianmo, an observer, could see Li Jiangyuan's thoughts clearly.

Li Jiangyuan was startled and turned around, his head buzzing, to look behind him: "Qianqian, you...you don't misunderstand, what I just said wasn't what you think."
Bai Qianmo curled her lips into a cold laugh, adding fuel to the fire.
"Li Jiangyuan, do you dare to do it but not admit it? Just now you kept apologizing to Xia Wei and begging her to forgive you. I, as an onlooker, heard it all clearly. Now you want to turn your back on your promise?"
"You're talking nonsense! I was just trying to reconcile with Xia Wei on behalf of Qianqian. How can you slander someone like that?" Li Jiangyuan was furious, his whole body radiating coldness.
Bai Qianmo chuckled: "Tsk tsk, no wonder he's Hesong's most popular young actor, his acting skills are superb. One second he said he couldn't forget Xia Wei, but when his current girlfriend caught him red-handed, he hurriedly changed his tune and denied it?"
"Li Anbei, you really are hypocritical. Since you've cheated on your wife and are now happily together with your mistress, stop thinking about your ex. No one is pulling you this way. You've come here wanting to rekindle your old flame, so you should be responsible for your actions. Unless you're thinking of having both of them?"
Bai Qianmo's words struck a chord with Li Jiangyuan, whose eyebrows immediately furrowed as he angrily retorted, "You're talking nonsense! That's not what I think. I only have Yu Qianqian in my heart."
Bai Qianmo gave a sarcastic laugh: "Hypocritical."
Li Jiangyuan panicked completely because Bai Qianmo called out his stage name. The rest area wasn't far from here, and people were starting to look over.
"Qianqian, let's leave first. Things aren't as this woman says. I love you, you have to believe me."
Yu Qianqian forcefully shook off Li Jiangyuan's hand and glared fiercely at Xia Wei: "Xia Wei, I knew you'd been thinking about Jiangyuan all along. Even now, so much time has passed, and you're still not giving up, are you? With your status, what makes you think you can compare to me? If you had any shame, you should stay far away from us."
Xia Wei coldly met Yu Qianqian's gaze: "What, you're not pretending anymore? Didn't you keep saying you wanted my forgiveness? This aggressive tone doesn't sound like you're feeling guilty, does it?"
Yu Qianqian was taken aback and looked at Li Jiangyuan in a panic.
Damn it, she got so angry that she completely forgot about her pretense.
Li Jiangyuan looked at Yu Qianqian in surprise.
Yu Qianqian's eyes were slightly red: "I'm so angry with you guys, Li Jiangyuan. If you don't like me, just say so, and I'll wish you well. But you've been hiding your relationship from me behind my back. Don't you think I'm stupid?"
"Qianqian, I didn't, I really didn't!" Li Jiangyuan had no mind to think about what Yu Qianqian had just said; his mind was a complete mess.
Xia Wei glanced at them with a cold look in her eyes.
"Back when you cheated on me behind my back, you probably thought I was an idiot, huh? Heh, Yu Qianqian, don't think everyone's place is a dumping ground for trash. I really dislike secondhand stuff."
"Xia Wei, you bitch, who are you calling a garbage dump?" Yu Qianqian was furious. She screamed and swung her hand at Xia Wei's face.
"Smack!"
A crisp slap, accompanied by a fierce gust of wind, knocked the frail figure to the ground.
Yu Qianqian cried out in surprise, covering her cheek in astonishment as she looked at the person who had made the move.
