Bai Qianmo walked ahead selecting ingredients, while Gu Jueye quietly pushed the shopping cart behind her.
A strikingly good-looking young couple stood out as they walked through the bustling supermarket.
People passing by them can't help but take a second look at them.
Bai Qianmo has a cold and aloof personality and always keeps her eyes straight ahead.
Gu Jueye's gaze hadn't left Bai Qianmo since they entered the supermarket.
“Mr. Gu, we are still missing a jar of soybean paste, but I can’t find that brand.”
Gu Jueye gave Bai Qianmo a deep look: "Is it Qinghe?"
Bai Qianmo's gaze was fixed on a row of shelves when she heard the name "Qinghe," and her usually indifferent eyes suddenly narrowed.
She blinked unconsciously before turning to look at Gu Jueye.
"Yes, Qinghe is an old brand."
Gu Jueye suddenly took a step forward with his long, straight legs.
Caught off guard, Bai Qianmo instinctively stepped back.
Behind it is a shelf, on which are placed fragile condiment bottles.
Gu Jueye's eyes darkened slightly, and he stretched out his long arm, pulling her into his embrace.
Warm breaths and a faint fragrance filled the small space.
Bai Qianmo's body tensed slightly as she felt the warmth of her palm against her back.
The surroundings were deathly silent.
Gu Jueye's hand, which was placed on Bai Qianmo's waist, moved lightly and then stopped, without lingering for a moment.
The entire movement was gentlemanly and composed.
With a light lift of his long arm, he reached over Bai Qianmo's head and took a box of soybean paste from the top shelf.
"Here!"
His voice was deep, and warm breaths surrounded her head.
Bai Qianmo blinked her clear eyes slightly and curled the corners of her lips.
There was not a trace of embarrassment or shyness.
"Thanks!"
Gu Jueye let out a soft chuckle, seemingly in a very good mood.
