"Is something the matter?" Bai Qianmo asked.
There was a soft chuckle from the other end, a sound so sweet it melted your bones.
"Did I disturb you?"
"It's 2 a.m. here right now, don't you think?"
Bai Qianmo rubbed her dry eyes and replied casually.
The man continued to smile good-naturedly.
"People on Wall Street are more hardworking than I am."
The implication is that I was definitely not the one who woke you up.
Bai Qianmo gave a soft chuckle, her voice slightly hoarse: "Fifth Master, get to the point."
Compared to her casual and playful attitude towards "I'm Brother Ye's sweetheart," Bai Qianmo was noticeably more reserved when talking to the man on the other end of the phone.
