Bai Qianmo had just gotten into a taxi, preparing to go straight back to the Bai family.
A timely phone call came in.
He glanced casually at the phone screen, noticed the caller ID, and felt a little puzzled.
After a moment's thought, he pressed the answer button.
"Hey, Miss Bai, how have you been lately? It's been so long, I've missed you terribly." A noisy and eccentric voice came through.
"Is something the matter?" Bai Qianmo asked calmly.
Her relationship with Ji Cong'an wasn't very deep; perhaps the only connection was that he was Ji Yeting's son.
Ji Yeting is her godfather, so they can be considered siblings.
However, Ji Yeting did not reveal this identity, so Ji Cong'an naturally would not know it either.
She has never liked to waste words on people she doesn't know well.
On the other end of the phone, Ji Cong'an awkwardly touched the tip of his nose.
The way my sister-in-law speaks is really similar to that of the Duke.
"Well, it's like this, Lord Sir has been working on his research for two days and two nights straight without sleep, and no one can persuade him otherwise. I'm really worried about him."

Bai Qianmo frowned slightly, having gone two days and two nights without sleep.

Ji Cong'an continued, "The Duke may be overworked. His appetite has been particularly poor these past two days. He seems to really like the braised beef you made, so I was thinking of seeing if you could spare some time to come to the research institute."
After he finished speaking, there was a long silence on the other end of the phone.
Ji Cong'an suspected that the other party had disconnected his phone.
I glanced at the phone screen; it was still in a call.

After a long pause, Bai Qianmo said calmly, "I'm in the car, I'll be there in about twenty minutes."

His gaze swept over the leaves covering the ground.
"It seems like too many leaves were trimmed today."
After saying that, the person leisurely went into the house.
Ji Cong'an looked on in astonishment. "You're only realizing this now?"
Why didn't you do this sooner?
"broken!"
After watching Gu Jueye leave, Ji Cong'an slapped his forehead and hurriedly ran to the kitchen.
Yuan You thought something had happened, so he followed him into the kitchen.
"Young Master An, what are you looking for?"
Ji Cong'an opened the refrigerator, took out all the ingredients, and put them in a shopping bag.
"Are you stupid? Miss Bai is here to cook, so these ingredients need to be moved as soon as possible."

Her clear eyes turned slightly, and her long eyelashes trembled gently.
His elegant figure headed towards the bathroom.
Twenty minutes later
Bai Qianmo arrived at the research institute on time.
Bai Qianmo looked around and only saw Ji Cong'an and Yuan You.
Ji Cong'an, all smiles, welcomed Bai Qianmo into the house. Noticing Bai Qianmo's confusion, he explained.
"The lord is resting in his room. I'll go upstairs and call him now."

When Gu Jueye came downstairs, Ji Cong'an and Yuan You were lounging on the living room sofa.

The man was dressed in white loungewear, looking as if he had just taken a shower.
Her short, soft hair hung loosely over her forehead, concealing her sharpness and exuding a clean and refined air.

Ji Cong'an thought to himself: Holy crap, what a crazy move.
Gu Jueye glanced at them indifferently and walked straight towards the kitchen.
Arriving at the kitchen door, I looked towards the busy figure inside.
The little girl stood in front of the stove, carefully placing the diced beef into the pot.
The movements were slightly clumsy, but he was exceptionally focused.
