The stylist, accompanied by two assistants, approached Bai Qianmo.
"Qianmo, it's time to put on your makeup."
Bai Qianmo put down her phone and glanced at the stylist.

Su Peishan looked gloomy and took out her phone to make a call.
The phone rang for a while, but no one answered.
Assistant Director Yan stared at Su Peishan with a look of anticipation: "Can't get through, huh? I advise you not to call the producer anymore. Producer Liu has already returned to the city."
Su Peishan looked at Assistant Director Yan; most of the assistant directors on set were no good.
They call themselves assistant directors, but they're really just the director's assistants.

Bai Qianmo immediately understood.
"Producer Liu isn't here? Then who said those words that Assistant Director Yan just relayed—Producer Liu or you, Assistant Director Yan?"
Assistant Director Yan feigned a wronged expression: "Look at what you're saying. I'm just an assistant director in charge of logistics. Who the stylist does the styling is all arranged by higher-ups. How could I pass on instructions without Producer Liu's permission?"
