The bearded man stared at the sixth brother lying in a pool of blood, his expression complex.
I was both saddened and angry.
"I never expected that Lao Liu would actually betray his brothers."
"We've been brothers for years, and I never imagined he would end up dying at the hands of his own brother. It's all his fault for not being loyal enough. We've been brothers through thick and thin, and I would have died for him without complaint. But he killed so many brothers because of his own selfish desires, and he deserves to end up like this." The young man who had feelings for Xiao Huan said with grief and indignation.
Wang Zhenshan stared at Lao Liu without saying a word, his eyes still wide open, filled with obvious hatred.
He thought that his brothers were just like him, bound together by the same belt, intertwined, and that good brothers were inseparable.
The sixth brother taught him a lesson: even the best-looking brothers might stab you in the back at any time.
He couldn't describe his feelings at that moment; there was anger, grief, and above all, shock.
Because in his heart, Lao Liu was like his own younger brother. The two of them were orphans without parents, grew up together, suffered hardships together, were already hungry and poor, and even went up the mountain to become bandits together.

"No, we must all leave together. No one can stay here."
The bearded man also said, "Third brother, the eldest brother and we can't just abandon you, but you've reminded me."
The bearded man looked at Bai Qianmo and said, "Boss, this girl is, after all, the daughter of the Xu family. Qin Ergou has close ties with the Xu family. If we take this girl hostage and leave, Qin Ergou shouldn't be too forceful towards us."
Wang Zhenshan looked at Bai Qianmo with a complicated expression.
He walked straight over: "Why didn't you take advantage of the chaos to leave?"

Wang Zhenshan looked puzzled. The bearded man walked over and said, "Boss, we can't wait any longer. Let's go."
Wang Zhenshan gave Bai Qianmo a deep look: "Second brother, take good care of third brother. You two tie this girl up."
"yes!"
Bai Qianmo cooperated by extending her hands, allowing them to tie her up.
Outside the door
Lieutenant Zhang brought over three girls he had met along the way: Xu Jinwei, Xiao Huan, and Bi'er.
"Commander!"
A middle-aged man in military uniform looked at Lieutenant Zhang.
"Zhang Jie, why hasn't Miss Xu been sent away yet?"
"Miss Xu was worried about her sister and insisted on staying to see with her own eyes that Miss Xu was saved before she would leave."
"Uncle Qin, please don't blame Lieutenant Zhang. It was my insistence to stay. My fourth sister is still inside. Uncle Qin, you must rescue her safely!"
"Don't worry, niece. These bandits won't be able to escape today. I will definitely rescue your sister safely."
Xu Jinwei looked worriedly into the abandoned house.
"Why haven't the people inside surrendered yet after all this time?"
Qin Wentai sneered and deliberately shouted loudly into the house, "These bastards must be scared to death. Now they can only hide like cowards."
Wang Zhenshan, gritting his teeth, led several of his men out of the house, "holding" Bai Qianmo hostage.
"Qin Ergou, you killed more than a dozen of my brothers. I will make you pay for this debt tenfold sooner or later."
"Heh, you little thief, how dare you spout such nonsense to me, the commander-in-chief? Men, arrest these bastards. Wang Zhenshan, I'm going to make sure you spend the rest of your life in jail."
"Anyone who dares to move, I'll shoot this girl on the spot." The bearded man pressed a pistol against Bai Qianmo's temple.
He glared at Qin Wentai with a fierce look in his eyes.
"Heh, you dare threaten me? Do you think I'm easily scared?"
Xiao Huan cried, "Second Miss, Fourth Miss has been taken hostage! Please tell the Grand Commander, please don't hurt Fourth Miss!"
Xu Jinwei also began to worry about Bai Qianmo's safety.
"Uncle Qin, please don't let them hurt my fourth sister."
Qin Wentai frowned in displeasure.
"Is your fourth sister stupid? You all managed to escape, why didn't she? Or is she in cahoots with these bandits?"
"How could that be? My fourth sister is a weak woman, there is no way she would get involved with bandits."
Zhang Jie glanced at Bai Qianmo: "Commander, I can confirm that this Fourth Miss assisted us in capturing Wang Zhenshan a couple of days ago. These kidnappers also harassed several young ladies that day, so the Fourth Miss and these bandits could not possibly be accomplices."
