In less than ten minutes
Gu Jueye and Bai Qianmo came out of the room.
Bai Qianmo was wearing a white turtleneck sweater with a light purple cashmere coat over it. Because both were light colors, her clothes were stained with a lot of blood when she was treating Gu Xinyi.

"Is Xinyi alright?" Gu Tingjun asked excitedly.
Gu Jueye gave the couple a cold glance, then, holding Bai Qianmo's hand, walked straight toward Old Master Gu and Old Madam Gu.
Gu Tingjun and Ye Yuzhen were stunned for a moment before rushing into the bedroom.
Looking at her daughter on the hospital bed, whose wounds had been cleaned and professionally bandaged, Ye Yuzhen felt a mix of sorrow and joy.
The joy was that their daughter hadn't died, but the sorrow was that their young daughter had suffered such a terrible disaster because of them.

Gu Tingjun took a step forward.
“Miss Bai, I’m so sorry for what happened earlier. Xin Yi was able to be saved thanks to your and Lao Qi’s timely help. I, Gu Tingjun, owe you my life. If there is anything I can do to help you in the future, I will do it even if it costs me my life.”
Gu Tingjun's words came from the bottom of his heart; no one could understand his excitement and joy at having regained what he had lost.
He wouldn't hesitate for a moment to exchange his worthless life for his daughter's young life.
“I saved Gu Xinyi not because of you. I saw that she could distinguish right from wrong, and I admired her courage to risk her life to save you. Besides, it was my fifth brother who removed the bullet from Gu Xinyi. I was just helping out.”
Gu Jueye's eyelids twitched slightly.
