Chapter 909

Just as Bai Qianmo was being attracted by the material the flying saucer was made of, the metal door slowly opened from the middle to both sides.

Outside the door, the alien who had just communicated with her using consciousness was the first to come out.

He was followed by several aliens of the same height as him.

A light wave emanated from the interior of the flying saucer, illuminating the entire interior with visible silver-white and blue light, making everything inside clearly visible.

Strangely, the light was as bright as day, yet it was not dazzling. In fact, it gave people's eyes an incredibly comfortable feeling, as if they were surrounded by a warm and soft cotton.

"Miss Bai, please come in." The alien looked at Bai Qianmo.

He gestured for her to enter, and Bai Qianmo looked through the open metal door into a two-meter-wide corridor, with rings of light swirling around it.

That's all.

Out of curiosity, Bai Qianmo stepped inside.

The aliens followed her into the doorway.

The metal door activated its mechanism automatically, and the door closed silently.

This is a three-meter-long corridor surrounded by a blue halo, with no other entrances or exits at the end of the corridor.

Just as Bai Qianmo was curiously looking around, a sudden tremor ran beneath her feet.

Then, it began to slowly move downwards from where she was standing.

The entrance was actually beneath our feet; it was an invisible elevator.

After the elevator descended about three meters, it reached the space at the bottom.

The area here is smaller than the one above, about thirty square meters in size. The walls are a ring, and they are all covered with crystal screens.

At this moment, the screen is displaying some scenery, including mountains and lakes, beaches and cliffs, isolated islands and deep seas, as well as some primeval forests and some rare plants and animals.

It seems that this small space contains all the natural scenery on Earth.

The screen kept changing, it was very mysterious.

"What do you want to do with me after bringing me up here?" Bai Qianmo asked the leading alien.

The other person stared at her silently, without answering his question.

After a moment of silence, he gently waved his hand toward the screen.

The image on the crystal screen immediately changed.

A massive sandstorm swept along the vast beach toward the inhabited city. The once calm deep sea now resembled a giant python awakening, its massive head emerging from the ocean and rushing toward the road.

The earth shook violently, and towering waves submerged cities across the globe. She clearly saw many human and animal corpses floating on the ground.

However, just as this natural disaster was occurring on Earth, countless fireballs fell from the sky, and fire rained down all over the world, causing raging fires wherever it touched.

When such an apocalyptic scene unfolded before her eyes, Bai Qianmo deeply felt the insignificance of humanity, truly like a drop in the ocean.

Seeing the final rain of fire reminded her of that dream. When that person took her into the universe, she had also seen a similar rain of fire.

Why are you showing me this?

"This is a disaster that will happen to Earth in the future."

"The future? How far in the future?"

Bai Qianmo was very surprised.

The deterioration of the Earth's environment is indeed accelerating. The rapid melting of polar ice caps, rising temperatures, global warming, and environmental shifts between the north and south all indicate that the Earth is slowly changing.

Like dominoes, one small domino falls first, gradually transforming into larger ones. This butterfly effect becomes increasingly pronounced, eventually turning into a catastrophe that humanity cannot withstand.

However, she could hardly have imagined that this catastrophe would come so quickly.

"This disaster is coming soon, so we need to get you out of here before it happens."

"Why me?"

"Because your soul comes from our Pleiades planet, we have an obligation to bring you back to your home."

Upon hearing this answer, Bai Qianmo found it hard to believe.

“Miss Bai, I know you find this answer hard to believe, but it’s true. We’ve been secretly observing your growth and changes. If it weren’t for the fact that Earth is about to undergo a major upheaval, we wouldn’t be meeting you in this way.”

"So, you're going to take me away from Earth?"

The alien nodded: "Are you ready to return home?"

"No!" Bai Qianmo shook her head resolutely.

“My family and friends are here. Even if a major catastrophe really happens to Earth in the future, I will stand with them through thick and thin. Besides, if my soul comes from the Pleiades, there should be many aliens on this Earth who have been reincarnated like me, right? You should take the others back first. I will take responsibility for my own life.”

An alien who hadn't spoken a word snorted coldly.

He said in a disdainful tone, "Do you think anyone is qualified for us to personally welcome them back home? If you weren't surnamed Ruan, we wouldn't care whether you lived or died. In short, the mission of reincarnating on Earth is to purify your soul. Even if your physical body dies on Earth, your soul can still return home. Why should we go to all this trouble?"

"Dal, shut up!" the leading alien shouted angrily.

The other party glared at Bai Qianmo defiantly: "Am I wrong? I really don't know what the Grand Elder is thinking. So what if this good-for-nothing is surnamed Ruan? She's still a useless piece of trash with no talent for spiritual cultivation. Even if we take her back, what difference will it make? Hmph, if it weren't for the fact that she looks like Princess Mengli, who would remember this good-for-nothing?"

“Dal…”

Bai Qianmo listened quietly to their standoff.

Perhaps the two had a disagreement and did not shield themselves from outsiders when communicating.

This actually revealed a lot of information to her.

If what these aliens say is true, then she was a Pleiadian in her previous life, and was reincarnated on Earth to complete the purification of her soul.

On that planet, her surname was Ruan, and she seemed to belong to a very prominent family.

So, when Earth was about to face a major catastrophe, they came to take her back?

All of these explanations seemed to make sense, but she still felt that something was off.

What Dahl said in particular made her feel that there must be something fishy going on.

"Who is Princess Mengli?" Bai Qianmo asked Da'er without annoyance.

Compared to the tight-lipped leader, Dahl, this alien, was much more straightforward.

You might actually discover unexpected truths from him.
