The man shifted his gaze from the girl and glanced at the young man who was just bending down to get into the car.
A hint of bewilderment appeared in his deep eyes, followed by a relieved smile.
"Thank you for your help this time."
Zeng Xun pursed his lips and shook his head, saying, "Back then, you had my master customize the 'Eternity' watch, which showed how deep your feelings for your girl were. Now you're really just going to hand it over to someone else like that?"
The man remained silent until the black Mercedes drove away from him, at which point he slowly withdrew his gaze.
Her phoenix eyes were slightly lowered, staring blankly at a ring on the ring finger of her right hand.
Zeng Xun saw that he didn't say anything, and was even more anxious than the original owner.
"I'm telling you, do you really want your woman to be snatched away by another man? You're really generous."
The man said softly, "Other men?"
"Gu Jueye, that man who just walked over, that's the heir of the Gu family. Putting aside his status, with his looks and demeanor, which woman could resist him?"
The man chuckled softly. Gu Jueye—this name hadn't been mentioned in front of him for decades.
"Let's go back." After a long silence, the man closed his eyes slightly.
The driver immediately started the car and slowly drove away.

Bai Qianmo walked out of the mall, followed by a large group of reporters who interviewed her as they went.
Bai Qianmo remained silent, while Chen Xiang and Su Peishan chatted casually with the reporters.
Bai Qianmo's gaze swept across the open-air plaza outside the mall, where many cars were parked. At a glance, there were several black Mercedes-Benzes, but she didn't know which one was Gu Jueye's car.
Just as she was fretting over this, Rong Yi nodded at her from a short distance away, and then her phone rang.
"Go left."
It was a message from Gu Jueye.
Bai Qianmo looked to the left side of the road and sure enough, she saw the familiar Mercedes-Benz.
At this moment, a large group of security guards from the mall rushed up and blocked the dozens of reporters from the front.
Taking the opportunity, Bai Qianmo told Su Peishan, "You guys leave in the van, I have other things to do."
"Hey, Qianmo..." Su Peishan was about to speak when Bai Qianmo lifted her skirt and quickly headed towards the black car.
The other person seemed to be watching her the whole time, and as she walked this way, the car slowly drove towards her.

The back door opened, and Bai Qianmo smiled at the man inside. Gu Jueye reached out and grasped her wrist, gently pulling her into the car.
The partition in the back of the car had been pressed down by Gu Jueye at some point, dividing it into two separate spaces.
The car has already safely entered the road.
Gu Jueye gazed at Bai Qianmo with tender eyes for a while, and only felt truly at ease after confirming that Bai Qianmo was unharmed.
“Wu Youxuan has been taken away by the police. I have contacted He Jingzhi to be your lawyer. He will handle the case in full.”
Seeing Gu Jueye and hearing his deep, magnetic voice, Bai Qianmo felt the fatigue of the entire morning instantly dissipate.
She gently grasped Gu Jueye's hand, rested her head against his chest, and closed her eyes slightly.
"You make the arrangements. I just want to close my eyes and rest for a while."
Gu Jueye affectionately reached out and ruffled Bai Qianmo's long hair: "Go to sleep for a while, I'll wake you up when we get there."
"Huh? Where are we going?"
Gu Jueye chuckled softly, "My grandfather said he misses you. I happen to have some time today, so let's go see him together."
"Alright, it's been a long time since I've seen Elder Qin either."
