Bai Qianmo followed Gu Jueye out of the police station, and Chief Cui respectfully saw them out.
The two walked to the car. Gu Jueye opened the back door and let Bai Qianmo get in first. Then, remembering something, he turned to look at Director Cui.
"I'll leave the rest to Director Cui."
"Don't worry, Your Excellency, I will definitely handle this matter well," Director Cui assured him repeatedly.
Gu Jueye nodded, bowed, and got into the car.
As the car slowly drove away from the police station, Bai Qianmo glanced out the window. Suddenly, her wrist tightened, and she was startled. In an instant, the man beside her pulled her into his arms.
Gu Jueye reached out and ruffled her long hair: "It's alright, I'll handle the rest."
Bai Qianmo's eyes curved slightly. Although everything was within her plan, Gu Jueye's appearance made her feel inexplicably at ease.
"Was Aunt Cai taken away by your people?" Bai Qianmo looked up at the man in front of her and asked.
Her people just sent a message saying that Aunt Cai had been taken away before anyone else, but the people who took her away didn't seem to be trying to kill her to cover it up; instead, they were heading towards the police station.
When Gu Jueye came to the police station to bail her out, everything became clear.
