Back to the research institute
The magic arts were outside the door.
"Master, we have news from Jiang Xiaoyu."
Upon hearing this, Bai Qianmo asked anxiously, "Where is she?"
"The watch tracker on her wrist suddenly got a signal this evening, showing a location near the tomb of King Qi."
Gu Jueye pondered for a moment: "This means that the Mo family and the Yin family have already entered the tomb. Make preparations as soon as possible, and we will set off in two hours."
"yes!"
After Fang Shu left, Gu Jueye looked at Bai Qianmo and said, "Rest for a while, and I'll call you when it's time for us to set off."
Are you going out?
"Well, there's something I need to take care of before I leave."
"Is there any danger?"
Gu Jueye smiled and said, "Don't worry, it's very safe."
Bai Qianmo was relieved: "Okay, I'll wait for you at the research institute."
Gu Jueye couldn't help but pat the little girl's head, then turned and got into the car and left.
After watching the car leave, Bai Qianmo quickly returned to her room to pack her luggage.
There wasn't much to bring when going into the tomb. She wore a specially modified windbreaker, and her backpack contained some tools and electronic devices she usually needed, as well as some food such as compressed biscuits.
Everything was ready, and more than half an hour had passed.
Bai Qianmo walked to the bedside, intending to pick up her phone and talk to Sister Su about some work matters.
Suddenly, a dark shadow flashed past my eyes.
At the same time, she sensed a familiar energy.
Her eyes turned cold as she looked around the room.
"Come out, I know you're in this room."
A moment of silence fell over the room.
Bai Qianmo's gaze slowly drifted down the wall to the window.
Outside the window is a ten-square-meter balcony. At this moment, the curtains are being blown up by the wind outside, and a pair of slender legs can be vaguely seen standing outside.
Bai Qianmo lifted her foot and walked step by step toward the balcony.
The other person seemed to sense her approach, and their slender legs began to move outwards.
At that moment, Bai Qianmo's figure flashed out like lightning.
Between them, on the dark balcony, stood a paper doll about a meter tall.
It wore brightly colored clothes and had a strange little face with two rosy circles on its cheeks.
When Bai Qianmo appeared on the balcony, the paper doll had already jumped onto the railing by the balcony, turned around and giggled at her, then tried to run away.
However, it questioned the strength of the local area.
Bai Qianmo didn't give it a chance to escape. Her figure flashed again, and at the same time, she stretched out one of her hands and grabbed the paper doll by the neck.
The palm slowly clenched, and the smile on the face on the paper gradually disappeared, transforming into a very painful expression.
Where is your master?
The paper doll stared at Bai Qianmo with its empty, large eyes.
Bai Qianmo sneered: "You won't talk? Then I'll burn you to death. I've heard that the paper dolls of the wizard clan are infused with human consciousness. If I burn you, you should feel immense pain, right?"
The paper doll's dark pupils seemed to reveal a look of terror.
Bai Qianmo grabbed its neck and took it back to the room, then rummaged through a drawer and found a lighter.
It lit with a "pop".
The flames gradually approached the paper figure, and she felt it trembling terrifiedly.
Just then, a woman's voice entered her brain through her consciousness.
"I'll talk, I'll talk, my master is here..."
The paper doll recited an address, and Bai Qianmo stared at her coldly.
Are you sure?
"Yes, yes, I wouldn't lie."
Bai Qianmo gave a soft snort and picked up her phone to make a call.
"Come here for a moment. I have something I'd like you to keep for me temporarily."
Half an hour later
The spirit rushed over.
"Why did you call me over so late? What is it that you urgently need to give me?"
Bai Qianmo led the Yin Spirit up to the third floor and returned to the room.
She gestured with her chin towards the paper doll on the bed that she had temporarily controlled.
"Holy crap, is this the thing that's been following you all along?" The spirit walked to the bedside and leaned over to examine it closely.
Although the paper doll was controlled by Bai Qianmo using her spiritual power, its consciousness remained fully awake.
Upon seeing the ghost, the paper figure's face seemed to turn even paler, and its eyes revealed obvious terror.
Bai Qianmo noticed something: "It seems to be able to sense that you are a member of the wizard clan."
With a cold snort, he said, "These paper figures are basically souls residing in paper bodies. Their thinking ability is no different from that of ordinary people. Because they are not bound by physical bodies, their spiritual energy is higher. It must have sensed my aura."
"I'm going somewhere, and you'll have to look after this paper doll for me for now."
The spirit immediately understood.
"Have they found the owner behind it?"
"kindness."
Who is it?
Bai Qianmo curled her lips into a cold laugh: "It's someone I never expected."

In a villa
A tall, elegant woman was sitting in the living room.
She held a wine glass in her hand, and a young woman stood beside her.
“The paper dolls I sent have been discovered. Bai Qianmo should already know my identity. Go and inform Mr. Mo so that he can make preparations in advance.”
"yes!"
The young woman vanished in an instant.
Shortly after she left, the door was blown open by a gust of wind, and a figure quickly slipped in.
