Duan Ze didn't quite grasp it at first: "A life of bland food and water?"
Shen Niannian looked at him meaningfully and said, "Yeah, sometimes I crave something 'meat' too."
Duan Ze was taken aback, then immediately realized: "Chen Niannian?!"
Shen Niannian immediately let go of Duan Ze's hand: "I didn't say anything. You just misunderstood. Don't blame me."
Duan Ze: "Who taught you all this?"
Shen Niannian chuckled and said, "It's an online friend."
Duan Ze: "You should watch less videos from now on. What kind of nonsense are you watching all day long?"
Shen Niannian: "Okay, okay, I'll do whatever you say."
While verbally agreeing, Shen Niannian was still internally retorting: Humph! This is just a small trick. She'll be even more daring in the future, and I'm afraid Duan Ze won't dare to listen.

Shen Niannian sighed, walked over, sat down next to He Yan, took her arm, and leaned on her shoulder: "Mom, I didn't mean it, please don't be angry, okay?"
He Yan pointed a finger at her head and said, "You always use this trick, but it won't work this time. You have to go back to Kyoto with your mother tonight, otherwise if your father comes in person, you might be tied up and taken back."
Shen Niannian: "Mom, I really am doing something important..."
