Xie Congjing said, "Nanxing, you've finally come back, so don't be so childish. Sit down and eat first, okay?"
If it were anyone else, Nanxing would have already lost his temper, but seeing Xie Congjing, Nanxing still felt a pang of pain in his heart and sat down again.
There are five people in the restaurant.
Neither Xie Congjing nor Nan Hao wanted to greet Cui Renzhi, so Nan Yue had to bite the bullet and pour him a drink.
The way Nanxing looked at Nanyue was no longer even bothering to pretend.
She knew that Nan Yue must already know the fact that she wasn't her parents' biological daughter, otherwise Nan Yue wouldn't have treated her like this, and would have deliberately not brought her husband and child back today.
Nan Yue, you've really played a brilliant game.
Xie Congjing placed a piece of lean braised pork into Nanxing's bowl: "Eat up, you love braised pork the most."
Nan Hao nodded in agreement: "Yes, because of your job, you have to diet every day and can't eat anything. It's almost ruining your health."
Everything was fine until Nanxing sneered, "What's the point of this meal today? Are you trying to fob me off with this?"
Nan Yue immediately frowned.
Choi In-ji: "Nam-sung, how can you talk like that? Those are your adoptive parents who raised you for over twenty years."
Nanxing: "Stop pretending, okay? If you really cared about me, would you treat me like an illegitimate daughter?"
Nan Yue laughed directly: "Nan Xing, you are an illegitimate child, that's a fact. Don't make yourself sound so aggrieved. Over the years, what haven't you received—your parents' love, your current status, money? What are you dissatisfied with?!"
Nanxing slammed her hand on the table and stood up abruptly: "Nanyue, am I talking to them? Do you have the right to interrupt? Who do you think you are?"
The food on the table looked and smelled delicious, but everyone knew in their hearts that they wouldn't be able to eat it.
But Nan Yue didn't want to waste a whole day's work and effort, so she chose to keep quiet: "Okay, whatever you say."
Nan Yue picked up her bowl and began to eat.
Nan Hao and Xie Congjing didn't want to say anything more and silently picked up their food to eat.
Choi In-ji glanced at the crazed Nam-sung, shook her head helplessly, and also drank her wine.
Nanxing stood there like a clown, and no one gave her a second glance.
Nanxing felt a sharp pain in her heart, and her body began to tremble violently.
Why? Why is she so distraught while they can sit here and eat peacefully?
Finally, Nanxing swiftly grabbed the table, giving no one a chance to react, and flipped the table over.
With a series of "crackling" sounds, Xie Congjing's hand was scalded by the boiling chicken soup, her face turning white instantly and her hand turning red immediately.
Nan Hao was furious: "Nan Xing, what exactly are you trying to do?!"
Nan Yue quickly helped Xie Congjing to the kitchen to rinse the back of her hands with cold water.
With soup and water all over the restaurant floor, Choi In-ji gave up on the idea of taking Nam-sung back to Korea.
Given Nanxing's personality, going back with him would likely disrupt his family's peace.
Nanxing wiped away her tears, not wanting to pay attention to Nanhao: "I'm going to see Mom..."
Nan Hao pulled Nan Xing back: "Do you really still consider her your mother? Look at what you've done!"
Nan Yue quickly came out of the kitchen, then walked to the door and opened it.
They were still arguing, so no one noticed that an old acquaintance had walked in.
Choi In-ji was the first to see his wife, Kim Jennie, and he froze on the spot.
Before Nanxing could react, her hair was grabbed from behind.
Nanxing's scalp throbbed from the pulling: "Ah! Who are you?"
The people that Jin Zhenni brought immediately surrounded the entire Nan family home, and the doors were closed.
Jin Zhenni didn't let Nanxing off the hook at all; the more Nanxing screamed, the more ruthless she became.
Xie Congjing came out of the kitchen: "Who are you? Let go of my daughter!"
Jin Zhenni glanced coldly at the Nan family parents, then turned her gaze to Cui Renzhi: "After all these years, I thought you and Xie Yi had broken up long ago. I never expected that even after she died, you would still be raising an illegitimate daughter outside?"
Nanxing finally realized who was grabbing her hair.
Jin Zhenni didn't give Cui Renzhi a chance to speak. She grabbed Nanxing's hair and walked to the living room, then plopped down on the sofa. Nanxing was forced to squat down. She tried to break free, but was held down by two bodyguards.
Xie Congjing was terrified: "Let go of my daughter! Can't we talk this out?"
open?
With a forceful movement, Jin Zhenni forced Nanxing to look up.
She spoke in fluent Korean: "This face looks just like your mother's; it makes me want to vomit just looking at it."
Nanxing spat at Jin Zhenni: "Pah, you dare mention my mother?"
Everyone watched Nanxing's actions with bated breath. Jin Zhenni released Nanxing, slowly took a tissue to wipe the drool off her face, and then suddenly slapped Nanxing across the face.
With a crisp, clear "snap," it made a distinct sound.
Choi In-ji rushed over and stood in front of Nam-sung, saying, "That's enough, Kim Jennie. You've done enough."
Jennie looked up at him and said, "Enough? She's almost thirty, and you're telling me it's enough?"
“One Nanxing wasn’t enough, you even helped Zhang Ting hide her identity and avoid me.”
Just as Choi In-ji was about to say something, Kim Jennie pushed him away.
Then he slowly squatted down in front of Nanxing. When their eyes met, one looked sharp and the other looked hateful.
Jennie Kim found it hilarious; her stubbornness was really annoying.
