Chapter 35

Chapter 35

There was a big hole in the window, but it didn't matter.

Countless touches of the abyss rose from the ground, accompanied by sticky sounds, climbing along the floor, walls, windows, and ceiling of the room, until the entire room was covered in a layer of lightless darkness.

"I rarely use magic like this." Lola said as she made several balls of soft light light up in the enclosed space, illuminating Miel's uncovered body and making his blue eyes, as deep as the sea, shine again.

"You should know that, unlike you, the amount of magic power I can use every day is limited." As he explained, his pants also turned into a sticky black liquid, flowing along his leg muscles, his honey-colored skin, and onto the ground.

Only then did Miel realize that the only shield he had was the Touch of the Abyss.

Miel openly admired Lola's body and wanted to seduce her with his toes, but he held back.

He knew that his seduction was meaningless. Lola only imitated the elf's body to create an incarnation that was attractive to him. Even if there was touch, it would not be as sensitive as him, let alone desire.

Perhaps noticing the direction of his gaze, or perhaps sensing something, Lola suddenly spoke up and said to him, "If you want to touch me, you can—I also want to know what it is about me that attracts you the most."

"Really... can I touch it?" Miel's heartbeat and desire, after being suppressed for a while, went out of control again.

"In exchange, will you allow me to touch you?" Lola asked gently.

Miel's response was: "Of course."

It's Lola, for sure.

This incarnation who would patiently ask for his opinion on whatever she wanted to do and then take action after getting permission was Lola, pure Lola.

Miel wanted to give a more extreme response.

——You can do whatever you want to me.

——It’s okay to be a little rough.

——Come, touch me, taste me, let me drown in the abyss of desire, even if real death will come in the next moment.

But in the end, considering that his answer would be known to Leon sooner or later, he remained silent. He silently took Lola's hand and pressed it against his body.

——Don’t say anything, just touch me.

Lola can sense Miel's touch and emotions through her invisible tentacles.

His palm moved across the cold white skin, and he knew exactly where and what touch would evoke what emotions.

Indulgent desires engulf the body and cause it to lose control.

Miel breathed a sigh of satisfaction, and Lola learned a lot in the process.

There was no need to ask those questions or curiosities anymore. Everything was answered by Miel's body.

Lyon was right—Miel was leading the research.

But Lyon was also wrong - Miel's leadership was not just for himself, but in a way that made both of them comfortable and achieved their goals at the same time.

Csulola lay on the bed, gently hugging Miel's waist, almost holding him in her arms.

Miel waited until he regained his breathing rhythm before speaking, his first words after allowing Cthulola to touch him: "My only regret is that you didn't make good use of your body."

—Lola only used her hands.

To this, Lola responded: "I'm learning. I'm actually hesitant about whether to copy your sensitivity and desires and experience them further, but this may be a bad idea."

Miel's palm gently pressed on Lola's exposed chest.

Lola really allowed him to touch her, but as expected, no matter how he touched her, Lola would not give him the reaction he expected.

Lola will not get angry if she is slapped, nor will she have any emotions or thoughts because of where she is touched.

If he was touching Leon...why did he suddenly think of Leon? He didn't want to touch Leon.

Moreover, that person would not allow him to touch so presumptuously.

"My dear, you can try." Miel tempted, "If you want to better study the elves and humans, such an attempt must be worthwhile."

——Miel didn’t know whether it was worth it for Lola, but he secretly hoped that Lola could have a body as sensitive as his and a desire more turbulent than his.

A Lola like this will definitely be more proactive.

"Then, next time." Czulola made a decision. "Next time you need me, I can try—try to experience my own feelings in the process, not just yours. Well, let this be my next goal."

Miel said "OK" with the corners of his lips slightly raised.

He didn't know how long Lola would stay by his side, but he would never forget Lola, and he would always remember tonight.

Miel relaxed in Lola's arms, resting his forehead on his chest, and closed his eyes peacefully.

For a moment, he wished he could just embrace death, but in the end, he chose to let nature take its course.

Death cannot help him keep tonight, death will only make him lose the future.

The sky has completely darkened, and the moon is a little red tonight.

Cthulion sat on the roof of the hotel with one leg propped up, his head slightly lowered, letting his bright red, slightly curly hair fall down and cover part of his face.

Suddenly, a voice rang out from below: "Who are you? You're the one who smashed the window in the middle of the night? You..."

Before the other person could finish his words, he lost consciousness and fell to the ground.

Cthulion raised his head slightly, and between his messy red hair and a pair of golden eyes, besides dangerous murderous intent, there was also burning anxiety.

Although it looked like Lola threw him out, in fact, he threw himself out.

No, to be more precise, expelling "Leon" and keeping "Lola" - all this was his decision.

This "he" includes both "Lola" and "Leon".

It was clearly his arm that was torn off, but the feeling on his face couldn't be shaken off.

That familiar slap, Miel's terrified and aggrieved expression when he was slapped, and his final cry - all of this was replayed in Leon's mind over and over again.

Miel, Miel...

This damn bastard.

He did not regret choosing Miel as his agent, even though this elf was surrounded by anomalies - but this in itself was a proof that this elf was excellent enough.

However, an agent should act like an agent. You don't have to obey his orders, but at least you shouldn't question his decisions and practices, let alone try to dominate him and tell him what to do.

——Then why didn’t I teach him a lesson, but just followed his wishes and got out?

Good question.

Cthulion thought about the last question and answer he had with Miel before he got out.

——Don’t love it now?

--Um.

--Why?

——Because I, like you, don’t want to be wronged.

The anxiety that had been suppressed with great difficulty once again swept through every inch of his skin, making Cthulion want to find a city to destroy.

The image of Miel crying reappeared in his mind, and Cthulion bit the knuckle of his left index finger hard.

Stop! Damn it! This is damn mental pollution!

He sat on the roof like this until dawn.

No one came to him, and no one cared what he thought.

The next morning, he sensed Lola had left the room. He couldn't wait to fly down from the roof and rush into the hotel—Tell me everything! Tell me what happened last night!

Their eyes met, and in an instant, all of Miel's reactions flooded into his mind, and his anxiety throughout the night was also passed on to Lola.

Under Lola's calm gaze and Miel's nervous watch, the red-haired elf raised his hands, folded his arms, and snorted softly: "You actually use my tentacles to do this..."

The light in Miel's eyes disappeared.

Leon changed his tone in an instant: "...It's quite interesting."

Miel:?

"Breakfast is on me." Leon spoke again, each word was very abrupt, fragmented and trying to express something, "You should be hungry."

Miel looked at him warily, not knowing what he was trying to do.

Lyon hesitated to speak.

Finally, Lola couldn't bear it anymore and explained for herself: "As a reward for fulfilling the agreement, or as compensation for hurting you... I know you are not short of money, but, just treat it as a chance for a gentleman to show off?"

Miel was silent for a long time before he accepted the subtle fact that Leon inviting him to dinner was equivalent to Lola inviting him to dinner.

When venting his desires last night, Miel had actually realized that Lola and Leon were the same person, but he still selfishly regarded Lola as a separate individual.

Now, at dawn, he had to face this strange but real fact again - Lola and Leon were both part of the great Cthulhu, and they were one person both physically and in self-awareness.

Miel sighed and decided to get to know Leon again. He didn't want to fall in love with him, but at least he wanted to not hate him and not let him affect his feelings for Lola.

He raised his eyes to meet Leon's golden eyes and asked him calmly: "Okay, but where do you get the money?"

"The thing that the Akunela Mansion has the most is money." Leon said as he raised his left hand and showed the gold ring on his thumb.

Miel stared at it for a while and felt that it looked familiar, as if he had seen it on Bross's hand...

Miel: “…”

This, invites, me?

As if hearing his inner complaints, Leon folded his arms again and explained confidently: "Since you have given up everything in the Akunila family, then this ring does not belong to me, nor does it belong to you. I found it, so it is now mine."

"Okay." Miel took a deep breath, not wanting to comment on his blatant theft.

"Sorry." Lola beside him apologized for "herself", "Maybe I should tell you, but I think you probably don't want to see anything related to Bross, so..."

“Lola, don’t apologize for something you didn’t do.” Miel still couldn’t see Lola and Leon as the same person. “The one who took it without asking was Leon. It has nothing to do with you.”

Lola hesitated to speak, and finally fell into silence as if in compromise.

Leon hesitated to speak, and finally narrowed his eyes in dissatisfaction, digging his fingertips into his arm.

After a moment, they both spoke at the same time:

Lola: "Can you allow me to merge?"

Leon: "I want to merge...is that okay?"

"...Let me decide?" Miel looked surprised.

He wasn't surprised that Lola would come to ask for his opinion, but even Leon...

Lola nodded: "I'm not sure if my fusion will cause harm to you, so unless you allow it, I won't merge again."

Leon's response was: "If your answer is 'yes', then even if you cry and whine, I won't split up to accommodate your emotions...trouble."

Miel thought silently for a while, then asked a question: "After the fusion, if I want you to separate, can you still do it?"

Lola: “Yes.”

Leon: "If you ask me to divide it, I will?... Anyway, it depends on the situation."

"If they are together for a long time, will they become inseparable?" Mier asked.

Lola: “No.”

Leon: "It depends on my mood."

"I understand." Miel roughly knew what the situation was with his lover.

He can exist in multiple incarnations simultaneously, merging or separating as he pleases. Separately, each incarnation possesses a different personality and mindset. When combined, he possesses the personality traits of all incarnations, while his mindset merges into a single, integrated set.

...As expected of his God, the sleeping Old One, the great Cthulhu.

Miel was silent, thinking.

Both Lola and Leon stared at him, waiting patiently for his answer.

Ultimately, Miel's response was: "No, not today."

Having just been comforted by Lola last night, he didn't want to go with another man today.

Even after the two merged, Lola did not disappear, but continued to exist as a personality trait and was a different person to Miel.

His sanity was not yet low enough to accept all this calmly.

Hearing Miel's answer, Lola and Leon showed lost expressions at the same time, like two big wolfhounds whose owner told them that they would have no food to eat today.

Miel:?

But Laura quickly adjusted her mood and asked him casually, "What do you want for breakfast?"

Before Miel could answer, Leon turned around suddenly and kicked the empty table next to him to pieces! Then he took out a few gold coins from his ring and threw them on the ground: "Together with the compensation for last night's window, no need to change."

After he finished speaking, he walked straight out of the hotel: "If you still want me to treat you, then follow me!"

Miel: “…”

To be honest, I don't really want to be treated by you.

But... never mind.

Miel raised his hand and hooked Lola's arm, and left the hotel with him, following Leon who was obviously full of anger.

He wanted to see what Leon was going to treat him to.
