The silence in Beijing and Guangzhou lasted for three days. Wu Ye stared at his phone screen, the words "Me too" cast a spell, his heart racing even after reading them a million times.
In the early morning of the fourth day, he finally couldn't resist sending a tentative message: "It's snowing in Beijing, it looks like ash."
After sending the message, he stuffed the phone under his pillow, as if it were a time bomb. Ten minutes later, the screen lit up, and he grabbed it and looked at it as if he had been electrocuted.
Lee Seo-yeon: "Like dandruff" also attached a photo: instant noodles were piled on supermarket shelves, with the front row arranged in a crooked heart shape.

"Screen saver..." he asked softly, "Is it real?" Li Ruiyuan turned the camera to the phone - it was indeed that photo, and the saliva stains had been carefully photoshopped out.
"Li Ruiyuan." Wu Ye suddenly approached the camera. "You look like someone's tail is being stepped on." The man on the screen froze, his Adam's apple rolling. "...Nonsense."
Wu Ye pressed on with his victory: "The cat's ears are about to stand up."
"Are you looking for a beating?" "Where do you want to be hit?" He tapped his lips lightly with his fingertips. "Here?"
Cardboard boxes suddenly collapsed in the warehouse. The camera spun around and focused on Li Ruiyuan's red face: "You..."
"Me what?" Wu Ye smiled, "boyfriend?"
Silence spreads amidst the hum of electricity. In Guangzhou, the night rain drums against the iron roofs, while in Beijing, the wind and snow lash against the window frames.
"...Hmm." The camera was suddenly covered, and a muffled voice came out, "...Alright."
Wu Ye pressed his hot phone against his chest, listening to his own deafening heartbeat. The video suddenly cut off, and a new message popped up in the chat box:
Baby: "The supermarket is called September"
Wu Ye: “I know.”
Baby: "September is yours"
Wu Ye: "You are mine"
The message read indicator stayed on for a long time. When the new message finally popped up, Wu Ye smiled and buried his face in the pillow.
Lee Seo-yeon: "...Fuck"
