Chapter 6 Whose Adulterer?
Because of the traffic jam, it took more than an hour to walk from Shunyi to Sun Ziyi's home.
She was snoring softly in the passenger seat and was finally woken by Xu Zecheng. She looked outside and saw that they had arrived at the gate of her residential complex. Xu Zecheng looked pitiful and said, "Yiyi, my phone is out of battery. I can't go home."
Sun Ziyi pointed to the supermarket next door and said, "You can borrow a power bank from there."
Xu Zecheng looked at Sun Ziyi in surprise. "I came all the way home to take you there, why can't you just ask me to come up and sit with you?"
Sun Ziyi imitated the way he had just said to Wang Shu: "I have to learn from this and find a man to sit on."
Xu Zecheng was puzzled and said, "Why don't you learn something good? We are childhood friends who love each other dearly."
Sun Ziyi's mind flashed back to his kindergarten graduation photo, with the number thirty in the lower right corner. He sarcastically said, "Well, we each have thirty childhood friends like this."
After Sun Ziyi jumped out of the car, Xu Zecheng was still unconvinced and shouted from behind, "Can I come to have breakfast with you tomorrow morning?"
"I don't eat breakfast." Sun Ziyi said without turning his head, leaving behind a resolute back.

Just after seven o'clock in the evening, Wang Shu arrived at the door of his house. The private chef had just finished cooking and was about to leave. The two of them bumped into each other and looked at each other.
After entering the house, Wang Shu looked around and saw that the bathroom door was closed. He leaned over to listen and left only after hearing the sound of flushing.
He lay limply on the sofa, with two buttons of his shirt open, looking a little listless.
Shen Qingqing came out of the bathroom and was startled by him, and asked, why are you back.
Wang Shu asked, who is that?
Shen Qingqing said adulterer in a bad mood.
There was another knock on the door. The private chef knocked and said that he had dropped a knife while cooking.
Wang Shu only then saw the table full of food, and then politely handed the knife back, and then turned his head to tease Shen Qingqing, "The adulterer is carrying a knife to cook for the original husband?"
Shen Qingqing snorted and said, “An adulterer who knows how to be grateful.”
"You're not serious." Wang Shu said, then walked over and touched Shen Qingqing's face. Shen Qingqing avoided his hand. Wang Shu held Shen Qingqing's hand, and she saw that he was wearing the watch he gave her.
He pushed the watch from his wrist to Shen Qingqing’s wrist, lifted her arm, helped her put it on, then half-bent over and looked directly at Shen Qingqing like coaxing a child, and asked, “Is Qingqing not angry now?”
He used two fingers to poke Chen Qingqing's cheek again, and Chen Qingqing burst out laughing, still unable to hold it back.
Shen Qingqing raised her wrist to look at her watch.
"One gift, two gifts. You are quite good at it."
Wang Shu actually didn't expect Shen Qingqing to be so easy to coax this time. He thought Shen Qingqing would quarrel with him because of losing money. But it was obvious that Shen Qingqing listened to Sun Ziyi's words and decided to talk to Wang Shu properly.
What's more, she is pregnant.
"I'm not feeling well today." Shen Qingqing leaned against the counter happily, with her hands behind her back like a little girl, twisting her ten fingers non-stop.
There is no intention of launching an attack to punish anyone.
Seeing that Wang Shu didn't move, Shen Qingqing pushed the dish like she was presenting a treasure and said, "Try what the private chef made. The lamb chops were mailed by my mother."
"It's still a lamb. Today..."
She didn't finish her words and paused deliberately. Wang Shu raised his eyes and waited for her to finish.
Chen Qingqing then raised her voice and said, "I don't know what happened today. The mutton was so smelly that I vomited twice."
After saying this, she covered her mouth as if she was performing. Her look was exaggerated, but cute and adorable.
Wang Shu went to the island counter to wash his hands, not surprised. "But you've always been like this, haven't you? You can't stand the smell."
Shen Qingqing pouted, “This time is different. If I wasn’t feeling particularly unwell, I wouldn’t ask someone else to cook. I would definitely cook for you myself.”
“Don’t invite others to your house in the future. We can go out to eat whatever you like.” After washing his hands, Wang Shu sat down, pulled out the stool next to him, patted it, and motioned Shen Qingqing to sit down.
Shen Qingqing couldn't help but laugh, her eyes curved with laughter. She didn't take a seat, but sat directly on his lap. "Then you may have to get used to having outsiders at home in the future. I have to find an aunt to come to our house to cook."
Wang Shu picked up a piece of lamb chop and put it in the bowl, waiting for her to continue.
Shen Qingqing said happily, "Because we can't eat out anymore!"
The light from the island counter reflected into Shen Qingqing's eyes, looking fragmented and sparkling, and her eyes were full of expectation, looking forward to what her lover would say.
Wang Shu pretended to be thoughtful and guessed, "You want to lose weight?"
Shen Qingqing carefully placed the pregnancy test stick on the table.
"Look." She leaned over and whispered in his ear.
Wang Shu picked up the pregnancy test stick, looked at it carefully and repeatedly, and then glanced at Shen Qingqing again.
After a pause of almost ten seconds, he said, "Wow."
What poor acting.
Shen Qingqing's smile suddenly disappeared. She stood up and asked Wang Shu, "Are you unhappy that I'm pregnant?!"
Wang Shu panicked and quickly explained, "No, I was just a little surprised."
Chen Qingqing angrily walked to the sofa and sat down. Wang Shu quickly picked up the pregnancy test stick and looked at it.
Wang Shu said, "Qingqing, are you really not kidding me?"
Shen Qingqing turned around and said, "Am I a child? We have been married for four years. Why would I tease you about this?"
"I'm really pregnant." Shen Qingqing said.
Wang Shu met her angry eyes, then hurriedly forced a surprised smile and said, "You are pregnant."
Chen Qingqing had seen this smile before, when Wang Shu attended a conference and needed to deal with investors.
Shen Qingqing got even more angry this time and said, "You should learn how to act."
She walked into the room and slammed the door shut.
She sat alone on a chair in her bedroom, feeling that everything was wrong. While waiting for the private chef to cook, she watched many videos, preparing to give Wang Shu the most surprising way to tell him that he was about to become a father.
In those videos, all the fathers would shout with excitement or hug their wives and cry.
No one reacted like Wang Shu. During those few seconds of pause, she even felt that the earth had stopped.
She felt that she was a very dull person, so dull that she didn't even know when exactly she started to change.
Thinking of this, she took two steps at a time and opened the door quickly and suddenly. She saw Wang Shu sitting at the dining table, his arms folded, looking at the pregnancy test stick. He raised his head to meet her eyes and asked affectionately, "Don't you want to have a child with me?"
Wang Shu was stunned for a moment, then said, "No, I'm happy. You're pregnant, I'll go with you for the prenatal checkup tomorrow."
Shen Qingqing took off the watch on her hand, threw it fiercely at Wang Shu, and then slammed the door.

It happened to be the fifteenth day of the lunar month, and the moon was full outside the window, making the room a little bright. Even when Chen Qingqing closed her eyes, she could still feel the big moon reflected directly in front of her, making it impossible for her to sleep.
She reached out, took out the curtain remote control, and closed the thickest blackout curtain.
When people cover their eyes, their hearing is most sensitive. She heard Wang Shu come in and tucked the quilt in for her.
