Unexpectedly, Dan Bingli shook her head slightly:
“It’s not that I don’t trust you, it’s just that the risk is too great. If something happens to you, I…” At this point, her voice choked slightly, and her eyes reddened.
Seeing the urgency of the situation, Qin Luo shook his head, stopped trying to persuade him, and walked straight into the building.
Seeing this, Dan Bingli was about to follow, but was stopped by his serious gaze. Her feet seemed to be nailed to the spot, and her eyes followed Qin Luo's figure closely, her eyes full of anxiety.
Her lips trembled, wanting to call Qin Luo back again, but she forced herself to swallow the words. In the end, only a faint, plaintive sound escaped from between her tightly clenched teeth:
"You're always like this, always bullying me. Can't you just do what I say this once?"
"You lecherous scoundrel, humph!"
At this point, Dan Bingli seemed reluctant to even utter another curse, swallowing back the rest of her angry words.
Her eyes were misty, and she murmured with a hint of reproach and sorrow:
"If anything happens to you, what am I supposed to do? My clan is waiting for me to return. How can I stay here and die with you?"
After speaking, she slowly squatted down, hugged her knees, and buried her head between them. However, her gaze still occasionally peeked through her fingers towards the direction where Qin Luo had disappeared. In this empty space, she appeared even more lonely and helpless. Only the howling wind around her echoed the sorrow and unease in her heart.
