"Yaoyue, I know you're upset. I didn't tell you before because I thought this trip would only last a few days and I'd be back soon, so I didn't inform you. Who would have thought that unexpected events would delay things for so long?"
"It's understandable that you're angry. Once you've calmed down, I'll come back to apologize."
As she finished speaking, the sound of footsteps gradually fading away came from outside the door, the "tap tap" sound striking Su Yaoyue's heart again and again.
She had finally waited for Qin Luo to return, how could she just watch him leave again?
The longing and grievances she had accumulated over the past two years were like a fishbone stuck in her throat. She longed to hear his explanation in person, to receive his comfort, and to fill the void in her heart that had been there for the past year.
Thinking this, Su Yaoyue suddenly pulled the latch with her jade hand, and with a "creak", the door was hurriedly pushed open.
But when Su Yaoyue opened the door, she saw Qin Luo with a smug look on his face, clearly expecting Su Yaoyue to open the door.
This scene made Su Yaoyue realize that she had been tricked. She was so angry that her eyebrows stood on end, her teeth clenched, and she tried to close the door again without saying a word.
However, Qin Luo wouldn't let her succeed. Taking advantage of the moment the door opened, he darted inside.
He stretched out his long arm and firmly embraced Su Yaoyue's slender waist.
Su Yaoyue stiffened, struggled a few times, but couldn't break free from Qin Luo's strong embrace. She felt both angry and ashamed, and said angrily:
"You lecherous scoundrel, how dare you tease me! Let me go! Waaaaah?!?"
