Chapter 80 Venting

Just as Qin Luo was thinking of a solution, the front door of the house was slowly opened, and Yi Ting, dressed in a decent light yellow dress, stood in front of him.

The dress was loose and flowing, revealing only a short section of her white, jade-like arms, and a pale yellow ribbon was gently tied around her waist.

The high, undulating waves, encased in her dress, rose and fell gently with her breath, exuding an alluring charm.

Her rounded hips, partially concealed by the skirt, created a beautiful curve that was impossible to look away from.

Yi Ting looked at Qin Luo, a slight smile curving her lips, a gentle and graceful smile blooming on her face.

"Master, I'm sorry, Yiting has been choosing clothes for a while, I've kept you waiting."

"For some reason, I felt that my clothes were missing something today. After much deliberation, I finally chose this pale yellow dress. Thinking that I could appear in front of my master in the best possible way, I spent a lot of time on it without realizing it."

After she finished speaking, she raised her head, her cheeks flushed, and looked at Qin Luo shyly.

Qin Luo was filled with mixed emotions. If it weren't for the system's prompts and simulations, he would never have been able to see that this gentle and shy woman in front of him could have such a crazy side.

"Master, what's wrong? Why are you staring at me like that? Is there something dirty on my face?"

At this point, Yiting hurriedly reached out to touch her cheek, her expression revealing no flaws, showing virtually no difference from before.

"It seems we have to use a more extreme approach, otherwise we really won't be able to correct it."

Watching her flawless acting, Qin Luo sighed inwardly and suddenly reached out and grabbed her wrist, which she had hurriedly raised.

"Master, you?"

Yi Ting was slightly taken aback, a hint of panic flashing in her eyes, but as if she had thought of something, she quickly regained her composure and stared straight at Qin Luo.

Qin Luo looked at Yi Ting with a complicated expression and slowly spoke:

"Yiting, tell me honestly, do you... have special feelings for me?"

Qin Luo knew that with Yi Ting's timid personality, she would never easily reveal the feelings buried deep in her heart unless her last bit of rationality was crushed.

She always hid her emotions beneath her gentle exterior, afraid to bravely face and express them, and could only cautiously probe and anticipate Qin Luo's response time and time again.

Since Yiting doesn't dare to say it, then I will personally tear down her last pretense.

It is often when a person is most desperate and on the verge of collapse that she is most vulnerable and most likely to transform!

Yi Ting's body trembled. She hadn't expected her master to say such a thing to her. Did he know all along? But thinking of that 'master's wife', her eyes welled up with tears. She bit her lower lip and stared at Qin Luo with a stubborn expression.

The feelings that had been hidden in her heart for so long could no longer be suppressed.

"Master, are you asking a question you already know the answer to?"

"I know I am an ordinary person, whose life was destined to be that of a servant in the Li family for the rest of my life, growing old under endless oppression until I die."

β€œIt was you, Master, who rescued me from that endless darkness. At that moment, when I watched you teach that young master of the Li family a lesson to avenge me, my heart started pounding uncontrollably.”

β€œI told myself countless times not to have any improper thoughts. You are my benefactor, and I am just a lowly servant.”

"But then you applied the medicine to me, led me onto the path of cultivation, and taught me how to refine pills. You were so gentle and considerate. Every time you taught me, my heart would race, and every glance from you would fill me with secret joy for a long time."

"I have warned myself countless times not to have any improper thoughts."

"But feelings are like weeds; the more suppressed they are, the more they grow wildly. I look at you, my heart is full of longing, yet I dare not approach you. I can only cautiously probe and silently anticipate this unspeakable emotion."

As she spoke, tears streamed down Yiting's face, and her eyes began to glaze over with madness, a deep resentment blooming in the depths of her pupils.

His voice began to tremble, revealing a deep sense of despair.

"But when I heard that you had a teacher's wife, my world seemed to collapse. The feelings I had been so carefully protecting suddenly became so ridiculous and pathetic."

"I thought that as long as I loved you silently, that would be enough. But now I realize how naive I was. I hate it, I hate the injustice of fate, why did it let me meet you, but I can't have you?"

"I hate her! I hate that bitch for taking up all your love."

Yi Ting's expression began to twist slightly, her hands tightly clutching her chest, her body trembling, tears blurring her vision.

"Master, my heart aches so much, it hurts so much I can't breathe."

Do you know how helpless I feel? What should I do? What can I do?

Yi Ting's voice was almost hoarse. She then slowly squatted down in front of Qin Luo and curled herself up tightly, as if this could alleviate the pain in her heart.

Beautiful memories kept replaying in her mind, but these memories pierced her heart like sharp blades.

"Why? Why does fate have to play such a cruel trick on me?"

Yiting curled up, her voice hoarse as she murmured softly, tears dripping onto the ground.

She hated her own weakness, hated herself for not telling you about her feelings sooner, and hated the injustice of fate even more. She didn't know how to face all of this; she only felt that her world had completely collapsed and could never be rebuilt.

After listening to her long rant, Qin Luo was deeply moved and remained unsettled for a long time.

He quickly recalled his reasons for saving Yiting back then; he had chosen her simply to quickly increase his strength.

However, he eventually sensed Yiting's feelings for him, but he chose to ignore them.

He thought he had everything under control, but when it finally erupted, Qin Luo found himself at a loss.

Looking at Yi Ting, who was crouching on the ground, curled up and crying, Qin Luo originally wanted to calm her down with words when she was at her most broken, and then gradually lead her into the 'sweet words' he had prepared, so that she could let go of her unwarranted obsession and return to normal.

Looking at Yiting at this moment, he struggled with his feelings. After a long while, he sighed deeply and decided to follow his heart and face up to Yiting's feelings.

After thinking it through, Qin Luo slowly squatted down in front of her, gently pulled up Yi Ting's smooth ponytail, and made her look at him with her tearful eyes.

Yi Ting was slightly taken aback, but before she could react, she saw Qin Luo lean forward, and in that instant, the air seemed to freeze.

Yi Ting's pupils dilated instantly, her mind went blank, and her helpless hands instinctively hugged Qin Luo.

Her heart surged like a stormy sea. In that moment, she felt an overwhelming happiness, yet feared that this happiness would vanish like a mirage.
