Chapter 623 Are you afraid of me?

Yan Meng walked in front of me, and I deliberately kept a distance from him, at least five meters away.

Just as he was about to get on the car, he suddenly stopped.

He didn't reach out to open the car door. Instead, he turned to look at me and asked in a low voice, "Are you so afraid of me?"

His expression was so solemn and serious that it made me feel uneasy.

I deliberately took another step back, avoiding his gaze, and said coldly and bluntly: "Yes, I don't want to have any emotional involvement with you, and I don't want you to misunderstand my feelings."

I took a deep breath and explained, "I invited you to dinner because my mom really wanted to thank you, and I couldn't resist her nagging, so I took the initiative to contact you. That's all. I don't want you to make any extra connections."

I have clearly drawn a line between me and him.

Yan Meng was silent for a moment. I guessed that he might be angry, or annoyed that I didn't know what was good for me, and I was mentally prepared to see him get angry, but he didn't.

His calmness surprised me. I glanced over and saw him giving me a confident smile: "It's okay, I'll wait for you to contact me next time."

I gave him a perfunctory smile, not bothering to pay attention to him, and turned back to the villa.

I will never contact him again. What happened in the basement has made me dislike him again.

The servants were clearing the table, and Mingsi had already returned to his room to rest.

When I thought about the close contact with Yan Meng in the basement, I felt uncomfortable all over and just wanted to take a shower.

However, as soon as I walked upstairs, I heard a noise coming from the guest bedroom.

I paused and walked towards the guest bedroom curiously.

Qiu Qiu and Mingyuan are alone in the guest bedroom, so nothing will go wrong, right?

I carefully pushed the door open a crack and saw Qiu Qiu sitting on the bed with his eyes closed, holding a pillow in his hands, muttering something.

Mingyuan sat opposite her, apparently having no idea what she was going to do.

I felt helpless. Qiu Qiu was not a good drinker and would easily go crazy after drinking too much. I was afraid Mingyuan would not be able to handle it.

I was about to go in to help, but was startled by Qiu Qiu's sudden shout.

"Today! I want to sing a song!"

As he spoke, Qiu Qiu suddenly stood up from the bed, holding the air conditioner remote control in his hand as a microphone.

The bed was soft to begin with, and Qiu Qiu was unconscious. His body swayed and he was about to fall to the ground.

"Hey——" Mingyuan exclaimed and reached out to help her.

Mingyuan had just grabbed her hand when Qiu Qiu lunged forward and hit Mingyuan directly, knocking him to the ground and using him as a cushion.

With a "bang", I felt pain for Mingyuan.

But looking over, the scene before him was not tragic, but full of ambiguity.

Qiu Qiu pressed on Mingyuan, and her lips kissed Mingyuan directly.

Mingyuan's eyes widened in disbelief, his hands nervously grasping the carpet beneath him.

I couldn't help but smile like an aunt. My uncle, who rarely gets his wish, must be so nervous right now!

Qiu Qiu was drunk and was acting coquettishly instinctively. She rubbed against Mingyuan's chest like a kitten, muttering something, and then found a position that she felt comfortable in and fell asleep on Mingyuan.

Mingyuan lay on the floor, showing no intention of getting up.

He was stunned for a moment, and when he felt that Qiu Qiu had fallen into a deep sleep, he carefully raised his hand and gently helped her to smooth her bangs, his movements gentle and doting.

I smiled knowingly and silently closed the door of the guest bedroom.

It seems that this little cat Qiu Qiu has made Mingyuan feel itchy.
