I had a meal with Mingsi in the restaurant absentmindedly, thinking that Mingyuan would definitely not let Qiu Qiu go on a date with him on an empty stomach, so we went straight back to the room.
Nothing in the room had been touched and was just as it was when we left.
It can be seen that Qiu Qiu and Mingyuan are still on a date outside and have not returned yet.
I don’t know what surprise Mingyuan has prepared for Qiu Qiu, and I don’t know whether Mingyuan took this opportunity to express his feelings.
Mingsi and I were both worried about Mingyuan, but there was nothing we could do to help. We could only sit in the living room and read magazines while waiting for them.
Not long after, I heard laughter outside, and then I saw Mingyuan and Qiu Qiu walk in. Qiu Qiu was holding a gift bag in his hand, with a big smile on his face, and a little pride in his happiness.
Mingsi and I looked at each other. Judging from Qiu Qiu's reaction, she seemed very satisfied with the surprise Mingyuan prepared.
I curiously asked, "You guys look so happy, why don't you tell me what happened?"
Mingsi also smiled and looked at them expectantly, hoping to hear some good news from them.
Qiu Qiu said proudly without hiding anything, "We played a game of electronic hide-and-seek together! I won!"
Electronic hide-and-seek?!
Mingsi and I were both stunned for a moment, with complicated expressions, and we both looked at Mingyuan.
I asked in confusion, "Is this the birthday surprise you said you prepared for him?"
"Yes." Mingyuan talked about his design. "I encrypted my phone's location, but didn't tell Qiu Qiu where I was. If you want to find me, you have to crack my encryption first. This cracking process is very cumbersome..."

My eyes fell on the gift bag in Qiu Qiu's hand, and I was particularly curious: "What gift makes you so happy? Take it out and let us see it?"
Qiu Qiu did not hide anything and showed the gift generously. Mingsi and I were both stunned.
It was a stainless steel plaque, as long as a forearm, with two lines of words engraved on it: "Happy Birthday, the Strongest Female Hacker!"
Mingsi and I held our foreheads in our hands and were speechless, feeling completely helpless.
We were actually looking forward to Mingyuan's birthday present, and almost forgot that he was a straight man and had never pursued other girls. His thoughts were always difficult to understand.
I pulled Mingyuan aside, completely bewildered, and asked, "What are you doing? Who gives a stainless steel plaque as a birthday present?!"
Mingyuan didn't take it seriously. Instead, he proudly boasted to me, "This is called ingenuity. Besides, I'm giving this gift to Qiu Qiu to tell her that my friendship with her will be as strong as stainless steel!"
A glimmer of hope ignited in my heart, and I asked expectantly, "Have you confessed your feelings to Qiu Qiu?"
"not yet."
I felt like I was slapped in the face. What on earth did I expect?!
