Chapter 911: Talk Alone

To be on the safe side, not only did the hospital deploy Interpol personnel, but Mingyuan also had bodyguards guarding outside the hospital so that they could be available at any time.

Just as I was about to get in the car, I saw a car door being pushed open, and Lu Zhiyuan got out of the car and stood in front of me.

His appearance surprised me a little, but when I saw Mingyuan's calmness as if he had expected it, I knew it must be Mingyuan who told Lu Zhiyuan that I was going to the hospital to see Jin Shu.

Lu Zhiyuan stared at me and said, "I'll go with you to see her."

I was a little hesitant, but Lu Zhiyuan's eyes were particularly firm.

"Last time you went to see Jin Shu, I couldn't go in with you, causing you to suffer. I don't want history to repeat itself."

That incident was completely beyond everyone's expectations, but Lu Zhiyuan still felt aggrieved about it.

I knew that no words of comfort would reassure him at this moment, so I simply agreed to let him follow.

He was the person Yuan Zhenglin saved with his life, so Jin Shu shouldn't do anything to him.

I got into Lu Zhiyuan's car and went to the hospital together.

At half past nine, I arrived at the hospital.

I looked around and saw Interpol people everywhere.

Those doctors, nurses, and patients who frequently passed by were all Interpol officers in disguise.

The real doctors and patients were sent to other floors, for fear that Jin Shu would use some tricks to harm those innocent people.

Lu Zhiyuan waited with me at the door of the intensive care unit. As time passed, I began to feel uneasy.

Compared to Jin Shu's other arrangements, I am more afraid that Jin Shu will not come.

That was tantamount to cutting off Che Xiaofeng's last glimmer of hope.

Ten o'clock sharp.

Just when I thought Jin Shu was going to break the appointment, Jin Shu actually appeared in front of me.

Seeing that Lu Zhiyuan was also beside me, Jin Shu looked calm and walked towards me step by step.

"We meet again."

Jin Shu's voice was hoarse and her face was haggard. After not seeing her for a few days, she seemed to have lost a lot of weight.

Looking at her bloodless lips, it seemed as if she was the one who was sick.

Before I could open my mouth, I saw the Interpol officers swarming over and completely surrounding Jin Shu, leaving her no chance to escape.

My heart suddenly tightened, fearing that Jin Shu would do something extreme.

Zhuo Hai, the leader, walked straight up to Jin Shu and handcuffed Jin Shu's wrists with cold handcuffs.

Jin Shu was surprisingly cooperative.

She didn't show any displeasure. She just looked at me and reminded me in a serious tone, "You promised to talk to me alone. If you don't keep your promise, then I will change my mind."

Her tone was calm but full of threats: "Anyway, as long as I don't want to, you can't force me to have a spinal cord transplant."

My heart tightened and I called out to Zhuo Hai who was about to take her away.

"Wait a moment!"

Zhuo Hai was stunned for a moment and looked back at me.

I took a deep breath and made a decision. "I want to talk to her alone."

Jin Shu would rather walk into a trap than not meet with me. My intuition tells me that she must have something to tell me alone.

Zhuo Hai hesitated for a moment, but before he could answer, Lu Zhiyuan stopped him in a cold voice.

"no!"

I met Lu Zhiyuan's worried gaze.

He shook his head at me, "Have you forgotten what she did to you last time?"

Jin Shu snorted and looked at Lu Zhiyuan: "I don't know when you became so timid? This place is full of your people, and you are afraid of what I will do to Lan Shan?"

Lu Zhiyuan met her sharp gaze and said word by word, "You'd better not play tricks!"
