Chapter 12

Chapter 12

Wang Jiazhi saw a small clip in a small shop. It was a straight hairpin with small white beads on it and white lily of the valley flowers hanging under the beads.

She pinned the hairpins on her temples. The jasmine flowers were almost withering, so she took a green ribbon and strung the remaining flowers together, wearing them on her hand to go to class.

Xiao Xiao got her hair permed, and it turned out to be nothing like what she had imagined, like a curly-haired dog.

Xiao Shuang said, "After getting a perm, I seem to have aged several years."

Wang Jiazhi said, "Yes, he suddenly looked mature and old."

After school, Xiaoshuang asked her to accompany her to take photos, which she would send to her parents back home.

She held things for Xiaoshuang and watched her take pictures while holding onto a fake peach branch. She didn't notice that the boss was looking at her while taking the pictures.

After the photo shoot, Xiao Shuang fixed her hair. Just as they were about to leave, the boss came over and said with a smile, "Can you take a photo? I want to put it in the window. Of course, it's for a fee."

It took them a moment to realize that the boss wanted Wang Jiazhi to take photos of the store windows.

Wang Jiazhi smiled and shook her head, "No, no."

Xiao Shuang pushed her and said, "Take a photo, what's the big deal?"

The boss also repeatedly encouraged her, and Wang Jiazhi simply smiled and said, "Okay."

I took several photos and after developing them I picked out one of them. It was a picture of her profile, wearing a blue cheongsam, with her long hair draped over her shoulders and the lily of the valley hairpin.

Xiao Shuang smiled and said, "It's so beautiful, just like the hairpin advertisement."

As a thank you, the boss did not charge Xiaoshuang for taking photos, and even gave her several of her photos.

Xiaoshuang sent the photo out on the way. Wang Jiazhi smiled quietly when she saw her write the address on the envelope.

Xiaoshuang also has a younger brother, but her parents still love her very much.

She held her own photo in her hand, but had no one to send it to, and no one to give it to as a keepsake, so she could only keep it to herself and admire it.

A few days later, the owner framed her photo in the large window display, and Xiaoshuang and she went to see it. Someone mentioned it, perhaps a classmate passing by saw it, and many students made a point of going to the store to see it.
