"How...how are you?" Chen Xiaoru asked anxiously.
Zhou Yuxuan looked at her with gentle eyes and a hint of smile on his lips: "I'm fine, how about you? Are you hurt?"
Chen Xiaoru shook her head, walked to Zhou Yuxuan, squatted down, and carefully checked his injuries.
"He's seriously injured." She said in a low voice, her brows furrowed.
"I won't die." Zhou Yuxuan said softly, with a hint of weakness in his tone.
"As long as I don't die, it's okay," said Chen Xiaoru.
"Cough cough..." Zhou Yuxuan suddenly started coughing, and a trace of blood flowed from the corner of his mouth.
"What's wrong with you?" Chen Xiaoru's face changed and she quickly supported him.
"I'm fine, just a little tired." Zhou Yuxuan said weakly.
"We have to leave here quickly." Chen Xiaoru said, helping Zhou Yuxuan up and preparing to leave.
"Wait a minute." Zhou Yuxuan said suddenly.
"What's wrong?" Chen Xiaoru asked puzzledly.
Zhou Yuxuan's gaze fell on the corpse of the Zombie King, and his voice was low and hoarse: "Wife, look at what that is?"
Chen Xiaoru was stunned and looked in the direction of his finger. She saw a crystal clear core that was flickering with a faint light in the smashed head of the zombie king.
Without saying a word, she walked over, squatted down, and dug the crystal core out of the zombie king's brain.
The crystal core is about the size of a pigeon egg, emitting faint energy fluctuations, making people feel inexplicably comfortable.
Chen Xiaoru handed the crystal core to Zhou Yuxuan expressionlessly and said coldly, "Here."
Zhou Yuxuan looked at Chen Xiaoru, his eyes full of tenderness and doting. He took the crystal core, gently held Chen Xiaoru's hand, and said in a low and gentle voice: "Thank you, wife."
