The mutant zombie king was astonishingly fast. He arrived in front of Chen Xiaoru almost instantly, knocked her out with a punch, carried her on his shoulder, and then turned and ran away.
"Wife!" Zhou Yuxuan's eyes were bloodshot. He madly attacked the mutant zombie that was entangled with him and roared, "Let her go! You beast!" He wanted to rush over to save Chen Xiaoru, but everything was in vain.
"Roar!" The mutant zombie king let out a triumphant roar, as if mocking Zhou Yuxuan's incompetence. It carried Chen Xiaoru and quickly disappeared in the zombie group.
As the mutant zombie king took Chen Xiaoru away, the zombie horde began to slowly retreat, as if it were a tide, and then retreated like a tide, leaving behind only a devastated battlefield and corpses all over the ground.

There was a tremor in Father Chen's voice. "Xiao Ru will be fine. We have to find a way to save her!"
Zhou Yuxuan raised his head and looked at Chen's father with empty and desperate eyes.

He didn't know where to go or what to do. He just felt empty inside, as if he had lost the whole world.
Suddenly, he stopped.
He remembered what Chen Xiaoru had said before.
"Investigate for a few days. If you're sure there's nothing wrong with the base, maybe I can provide something to make an antidote for the base."
