Chen Xiaoru filled her space with spiritual spring water and rested by the pool, feeling much more resilient. On a whim, she said to the system, "Hey, system, what's that ugly freak out there doing right now?"
"Host, he's jumping up and down over there. He killed many of his own people to vent his anger, and is still looking for you like a headless fly. I guess his brain is about to smoke. He doesn't understand why you disappeared out of thin air." The system's childish voice echoed in the space.
Chen Xiaoru listened with a wicked smile on her face. She suddenly became interested: "System, can you change your voice to that... well, that of a mature woman?"
"No, I think this is fine." The system refused outright, with a hint of arrogance in its voice.
"Well, just pretend I didn't say anything." Chen Xiaoru curled her lips and asked, "Can I go out now?"
"Yes, but if you go out, you will return to the place where you just disappeared." The system explained.
"Oh, I'll go out first and come back later." Chen Xiaoru said, grabbed the water gun, and disappeared into space in a flash.
Chen Xiaoru flashed and suddenly appeared before the Zombie King. With a charming smile, she fired the water gun in her hand, and a stream of spiritual spring water sprayed accurately into the Zombie King's face. She made a face at the Zombie King and shouted, "Ugly freak, go ahead! Are you angry? Are you angry? I'm going to piss you off!" Before she finished her words, she disappeared in an instant.
The Zombie King was in the midst of a rage when he was suddenly sprayed in the face with water. He was completely stunned, frozen in place like a robot with the pause button pressed. Before he could recover, the hateful human before him vanished into thin air once again, leaving only a face full of water droplets, which slid down his twisted cheeks. His scarlet eyes were as big as copper bells, and his eyeballs were about to pop out of his sockets. His head seemed to be burning with flames. He roared, "Damn human! I will tear you to pieces!"
The spiritual spring water seeped into his body through the cracks between his eyes and the corners of his mouth. The Zombie King shuddered violently, a feeling of weakness he had never felt before washing over him, as if something were being forcibly ripped out of him. He opened his mouth in terror, wanting to roar, but his throat felt like it was stuffed with cotton. He could only make a hoarse "ho ho" sound, startling even himself.
"Host, the toxins in his body are beginning to disintegrate!" The system's cheerful voice sounded in Chen Xiaoru's mind.
"Hmph, he got it easy!" Chen Xiaoru rolled her eyes and dodged out of the space again. With a whiz, the water gun fired another stream of spiritual spring water, accurately spraying the zombie king's face. "Ugly freak, another one!" She winked coquettishly, dodged, and hid back into the space again.
"Host, you are so naughty!" The system giggled.
"Of course. How can I make him angry to death if I'm not naughty?" Chen Xiaoru said proudly.
After repeating this process several times, the toxins in the Zombie King's body were gradually eliminated. "Host, he is no longer a threat!" the system reported.
"Alright!" Seeing he was completely undone, Chen Xiaoru swaggered out of the space, water gun in hand. Like a victorious general, she began spraying the other zombies with spiritual spring water. "Let you ugly creatures have a taste of the spiritual spring water!" She hummed a triumphant little tune as she sprayed them, her expression a triumphant one, a look of sheer arrogance.
A sudden buzzing sound came from above her head, and the air stirred by the propellers made her hair flutter. Zhou Yuxuan's nimble figure jumped down from the helicopter, rushed to her with a few big strides, and hugged her in his arms. His voice was obviously trembling, "Wife, I'm so glad you're okay. I was worried to death!"
Following behind him were some members of the mission. Seeing this scene, they turned around silently and looked around cautiously.
Chen Xiaoru was almost choked by him and patted his back unhappily: "I'm fine! Why are you here?"
"Wife, of course I'm here to save you!" Zhou Yuxuan let go of her hand and looked her up and down with a look of helplessness and doting on his face.
"Oh, Zhou Yuxuan, go get a car over here," Chen Xiaoru pointed at the zombies sprawled on the ground and said commandingly, "I sprayed these with spiritual spring water. The poison should be dissolving by now. Take them away, otherwise they'll turn into zombies again once we leave."
Zhou Yuxuan's fingertips gently slid across the tip of Chen Xiaoru's nose, and the tenderness in his eyes almost overflowed: "Okay, I'll do as you say. I'll go now. You just wait for me here obediently and don't go anywhere." After saying that, he was ready to go aside and tell the commander about what happened.
"Hey, wait a minute!" Chen Xiaoru suddenly remembered something and hurriedly called out to him, her voice a little tired. "Go find some water guns or a water truck, anything that can spray water. I can hardly lift my arms, I'm so tired! I don't want to keep spraying everyone like this. It'll take forever!"
Zhou Yuxuan smiled dotingly, touched her head and said, "You! Okay, whatever you say, I'll make the arrangements right away. You take a rest first, I'll be back soon."
"Zhou Yuxuan, Zhou Yuxuan, please answer if you hear me." A hurried call suddenly came from Zhou Yuxuan's headset. It was the commander's voice.
Zhou Yuxuan's heart tightened, and he quickly pressed the call button and responded in a deep voice: "Got it, got it, go ahead."
"How's the situation on your side?" There was a hint of anxiety in the commander's voice.
Zhou Yuxuan glanced at Chen Xiaoru, who was playing happily with a water gun like a child not far away. The corners of his mouth curled up unconsciously. He cleared his throat and tried to make his voice sound calm. "Reporting to the commander, my wife is fine. She used the spiritual spring water to detoxify some zombies. Those zombies are now unconscious. She now needs a few containers for the spiritual spring water, preferably water trucks. Please give me instructions."
