Xiao Lang carried Chen Xiaoru home steadily. Along the way, Chen Xiaoru smelled the scent of sweat and soil on his body, and her heart was at ease. The wild boars this time were all killed by my wife. She wanted to leave most of them to the army to nourish the soldiers, and keep one or two to distribute to the military families in the family compound, as an apology." Xiao Lang explained the matter clearly in one breath.
After hearing this, Captain Li was stunned at first, then burst into laughter: "You kid, you're great! Your wife is even more conscious than you! I agree, I'll do as your wife says! "Xiaoru, come and eat!" Xiao Lang put the lunch box on the table and called Chen Xiaoru.
"Wow, the food is so good today!" Chen Xiaoru's eyes lit up when she saw the braised pork and white rice in the lunch box.
"Of course, you're a great contributor to our group, so you must be rewarded!" Xiao Lang said, picking up the largest piece of braised pork for Chen Xiaoru. "Come on, eat more to replenish your body. You eat first, I have to go. Those guys probably got the wild boar, so I have to go help."
Chen Xiaoru's mouth was full of meat, and she said incoherently: "Yes, yes, go ahead!" Xiao Lang got the consent and turned to walk out the door.

The crowd was buzzing with discussion, their opinions of Chen Xiaoru undergoing a dramatic shift. After all, in this day and age, a woman who could kill a wild boar with her bare hands was rarer than a giant panda!
"Hey, what do you think? Could this Chen Xiaoru be the reincarnation of a tigress?" A young military wife whispered to the people next to her, lowering her voice very low for fear of being heard by others.
"Shh, keep your voice down! What tigress? She's just being brave! Besides, have you ever seen such a beautiful tigress?" Another military wife quickly stopped her, but her eyes couldn't help but glance at the closed door of Xiao Lang's house, secretly guessing what Chen Xiaoru looked like.
