Her slender fingers tapped lightly on the edge of the bed, making a crisp sound, like the beat of a victory drum.

The system nodded like a chick pecking at rice, its tone filled with admiration for its host. "Now that the biggest threat has been eliminated, who are you going to deal with next?"

Chen Xiaoru slowly closed her eyes, her long eyelashes casting a faint shadow under her eyelids. A meaningful smile appeared on the corner of her mouth: "That depends on which unlucky guy bumps into me."

She frowned slightly, twisting her body uncomfortably, and said with a hint of helplessness, "System, how many days will it take for the effect of that illusion pill to wear off? I'm about to fall apart if I keep lying like this."

These voices flooded into Chen Xiaoru's ears like a tide, making her more aware that this harem was never a peaceful place. She opened her eyes, and a sharp glint flashed in them.

Su Wanwan's death and the Queen Mother's imprisonment were just the beginning.
