At this moment, Zhou Chen hurried over with a doctor. Seeing this scene, he was stunned. He walked forward cautiously and said softly, "Boss Chu, the doctor is here..."
Chu Tianche seemed not to hear it and continued to hold Chen Xiaoru tightly, not moving.
Zhou Chen looked at Chen Xiaoru helplessly, with a hint of help in his eyes.
Chen Xiaoru took a deep breath, patted Chu Tianche's back gently, and said softly:
"Can you please let me go first? The doctor will help you."
Chu Tianche then slowly let go of his hand, but his eyes never left Chen Xiaoru's face.
The doctor took the opportunity to step forward and examine his wound. Chen Xiaoru quietly took two steps back, putting some distance between herself and the moody man.
She muttered to herself: How did this bastard ever control his temper? Did he really rely on tranquilizers? Tsk, that's interesting.
When the doctor finished treating the wound on Chu Tianche's hand and was about to inject a sedative, Chu Tianche suddenly spoke. Although his voice was weak, it was undeniably clear-headed:
"I'm fine now. No need for an injection. That stuff won't work on me. You all should get out first."
His eyes were sharp as he swept over the medical staff present, without any trace of the confusion and fragility he had just shown.
"Okay, Mr. Chu."
The doctors packed up their medical equipment in a well-trained manner and quickly left the room.
This medical team was set up by Chushi Group specifically to deal with Chu Tianche's mania, and they obey Chu Tianche's orders absolutely.
Chu Tianche's gaze fell back on Chen Xiaoru, with a hint of inquiry and dominance in his eyes. He suddenly reached out and grabbed Chen Xiaoru's wrist with such force that she couldn't help but frown.
"Come with me."
He pulled her towards the elevator without saying anything.
"Ouch, it hurts! President, where are you taking me? Let me go first!"
Chen Xiaoru staggered as he pulled her, and felt a sharp pain in her wrist. She tried to break free, but to no avail.
Chu Tianche's strength was so great that she couldn't move him at all.
Seeing that she was about to be dragged away by this bastard, Chen Xiaoru quickly thought of a way out and grabbed Zhou Chen's sleeve, blinking her big eyes pitifully:
"Assistant Zhou, if I'm 'kidnapped' by the president, does that count as absenteeism? Will I still get my perfect attendance bonus? I'm relying on this little money to survive this month!"
She looked at Zhou Chen pitifully, hoping he could say something for her.
When Chu Tianche heard her words, a barely perceptible smile appeared on the corner of his mouth.
He stopped, turned around, and looked down at Chen Xiaoru with a hint of teasing in his eyes:
"Don't worry, your salary won't be deducted."
His tone carried the confidence and control of a superior, which made Chen Xiaoru even more uneasy.
"Oh, then I'm relieved."
Chen Xiaoru breathed a sigh of relief, but then became nervous again, "Then President, where are you taking me? Also, can you let me go first? My wrist really hurts."
She looked at Chu Tianche pitifully, trying to make him let go by showing weakness.
Chu Tianche, this bastard, didn't buy her tricks at all. He grabbed her wrist with his big, iron-like hand again and dragged her towards the elevator: "Stop talking nonsense and follow me!"
The elevator door opened, and the bright lights inside the metallic cabin illuminated the two slightly stiff figures.
Seeing that struggling was hopeless, Chen Xiaoru could only roll her eyes helplessly and make a zipper-zipping gesture to indicate that she would not ask any more questions.
She resigned herself to her fate and followed Chu Tianche into the elevator. The elevator slowly closed, isolating them from the outside world. The elevator began to rise. In the small space, only the faint breathing sounds of the two people and the low hum of the elevator were heard. The atmosphere was a little subtle.
Chen Xiaoru's heart was beating like a drum, and alarm bells were ringing in her mind. Chu Tianche's posture clearly showed that he recognized her!
Where was he taking her? A score to settle? Or... revenge? Uneasy, she was dragged by Chu Tianche all the way to the hotel that had left a lasting impression on her.
The magnificent crystal chandelier in the hotel lobby reflected a dazzling light, making her feel dizzy.
The familiar environment instantly brought back her memories of that night. Chen Xiaoru couldn't help but hesitate, and an urge to escape surged in her heart.
"President, why...why did you bring me here?"
She asked stutteringly, with a barely perceptible tremor in her voice, and her hands subconsciously twisted together.
Chu Tianche stopped and turned around abruptly, staring at her with his dark eyes, a hint of an ambiguous smile on his lips: "Don't worry, I promise not to do anything to you tonight."
His eyes were too calm, which made Chen Xiaoru even more uneasy. What was this? The calm before the storm?
Chen Xiaoru swallowed and followed him silently, but her heart beat faster and faster.
The two walked in silence through the magnificent lobby and arrived at the top-floor suite.
Chu Tianche took out the room card and swiped the door open. With a light "click", the heavy door slowly opened, revealing a spacious and luxurious room.
He walked in first and closed the door casually with a dull sound, which scared Chen Xiaoru so much that she trembled all over.
In the room, Chu Tianche pressed forward step by step, and Chen Xiaoru was forced to retreat again and again until she hit the wall with a "bang", with nowhere to retreat.
"What...what do you want to do?"
Her voice was distorted with fear, and her palms were sweaty. She stammered nervously, clutching the corners of her clothes tightly with both hands, her palms wet.
Chu Tianche stopped in front of her, so close that they could feel each other's breath.
