Chapter 62 The Secretary of the CEO Who Has No Heir Part 20

Chu Tianche's kiss was rough and quick, with a sense of punishment, and fell fiercely on Chen Xiaoru's lips.

His hands tightly clasped the back of her head, as if he wanted to embed her into his body, not giving her any chance to escape.

Chen Xiaoru's lips were bitten so hard that they hurt, and a taste of rust spread in her mouth.

She felt like a bird trapped in a cage, struggling desperately but unable to break free. This kiss didn't last long, but it felt like a century, almost suffocating her.

“Bang!”

The crisp sound of a slap broke the silence in the room and echoed in the air. Chen Xiaoru's hands trembled and her face burned with pain, but she felt an immense sense of relief.

Tears blurred her vision, but she stubbornly refused to bow her head. She pushed Chu Tianche away with all her strength, her chest heaving violently, as if she wanted to pour out all the grievances and anger.

"Why do you treat me like this? Why..."

Chen Xiaoru's voice was hoarse and tearful, yet full of strength. "What did I do wrong? It was you who called me in that day. It was you... you who forced me to have you... Why do you blame me?"

Her voice grew louder and louder, like a volcano that had been suppressed for a long time finally erupting. She accused and questioned, and every word was like a sharp knife piercing Chu Tianche's heart.

"Do you want me to go and question you about why you treated me like that? You're a high-ranking CEO, and I'm just an orphan with no power or influence. How can I possibly defeat you? What else can I do except swallow my anger?"

Chu Tianche stared at Chen Xiaoru, who was crying in front of him. He felt as if someone had punched him hard in the heart, and it hurt so much.

He raised his hand to wipe her tears, but she shrank back like a frightened kitten. Her eyes were like knives, piercing him painfully.

"Go away, I don't want to see you." Chen Xiaoru pointed at the door, her tone cold and resolute.

How could Chu Tianche let go at this moment? He suddenly grabbed Chen Xiaoru's hand and pulled her into his arms. The force was as if he wanted to rub her into his own flesh and blood, not allowing her to be rejected.

Chen Xiaoru struggled desperately in his arms, beating his chest like a trapped beast, again and again, but her strength gradually weakened and eventually turned into a powerless push.

"Xiao Ru, I'm sorry. That day... that day I fell for my childhood friend's tricks. He schemed against me. There was something wrong with that glass of wine. I... I couldn't control myself at all."

Chu Tianche's voice was as hoarse as a broken gong, and every word seemed to be squeezed out from between his teeth, carrying with it a gnashing hatred and unspeakable frustration.

Hearing this, Chen Xiaoru stopped struggling, as if all her strength had been drained away, and she leaned softly in his arms.

The grievances, anger, and pain that had been suppressed for so long poured out at this moment like a flood. She burst into tears in his arms, her sobs piercing her lungs and echoing in the empty room, like a sharp blade, cutting into Chu Tianche's heart again and again.

Chu Tianche hugged her tightly, letting her cry in his arms, feeling her body trembling and listening to her intermittent sobs.

He rested his chin on the top of her head, feeling the softness of her hair, his heart filled with self-blame and pity. But he did not regret doing that.

"Xiao Ru, marry me and let me make it up to you for the rest of my life."

Chu Tianche's voice was low and firm, his eyes fixed on Chen Xiaoru's face, full of desire and remorse.

Chen Xiaoru suddenly looked up, tears still welling up in her eyes, her eyes, swollen like peaches, full of anger.

"No! I won't marry you even if you kill me! Why should I marry you? Your mother almost strangled me to death that day. If I marry you, will I die?"

Her voice was shaking, but every word she said was like a nail hitting the ground, making a loud bang.

Chu Tianche's brows were furrowed, his hands trembling slightly, as if he couldn't believe what he heard.

"Xiao Ru, why do you say that? What happened?" he asked anxiously, his voice filled with uneasiness and anxiety.

Chen Xiaoru bit her lips tightly, tears welling up in her eyes, and told him everything about how she was humiliated and almost strangled to death by her mother that day.

The more Chu Tianche listened, the darker his face became. His fists clenched so hard that they made crackling sounds, and his nails almost dug into his flesh.

After listening to Chen Xiaoru's narration, Chu Tianche's eyes were filled with anger. He gritted his teeth and spoke in a low and powerful voice:

"Xiao Ru, don't worry, I will give you an explanation." His tone was full of firmness and determination, as if he was vowing to seek justice for her.

"I don't want any explanation from you. I just want you to stay away from me. We are not from the same world."

Chen Xiaoru spoke calmly, but her eyes revealed determination. Her hands were clenched into fists, and her nails were almost digging into her palms.

Chu Tianche lowered his body, moved closer to her, curled the corners of his mouth, and forced a smirk that he thought was very handsome:

"Xiao Ru, you don't have the final say in this matter. If you don't want me to be responsible, then fine, you take responsibility for me!"

Chen Xiaoru was so angry at his rogue attitude that her face turned red and her chest heaved violently, "You...you..."

Seeing this, Chu Tianche quickly put on an innocent look, spread his hands, and said seriously:

"That was my first time that day too! I've never had a girlfriend before, and I'm pretty chaste, so you have to be responsible for me."

There was a hint of cunning in his voice, but his eyes were firm, as if he were stating a truth that was self-evident. Chen Xiaoru was so angry she couldn't speak. She could only stare at him blankly, feeling a mixture of emotions.

Chen Xiaoru's eyes widened. She had never expected that this man, who always regarded himself as a domineering CEO, would actually act like a rogue. Her face was full of disbelief, her brows furrowed, and her tone was filled with helplessness and determination: "If you leave, I can't afford it."
