As night fell and the lights came on, Chu Tianche finished his work for the day and drove back to the villa.
As soon as he stepped into the door, he saw Chen Xiaoru coming up to him with a gentle smile on her face: "Tian Che, you're back."
"Yeah, I'm back," Chu Tianche responded, a hint of fatigue in his voice, "Have you eaten?"
"Not yet, I'm waiting for you. Go wash up and let's eat." Chen Xiaoru said considerately.
"Well, you go first, I'll wash my hands." Chu Tianche put down the things in his hands, turned and walked towards the kitchen.
Aunt Zhang, who was busy in the kitchen, saw Chu Tianche come in, walked up to him, and said softly, "Young Master, the old lady came today, but I don't know what happened, and she left in a huff."
Chu Tianche frowned slightly upon hearing this, then relaxed again and replied calmly, "Yeah."
After washing his hands, he returned to the restaurant. Chen Xiaoru had already set the table and was sitting at the dining table waiting for him.
After dinner, the two of them cleaned up and returned to the bedroom. Chu Tianche took Chen Xiaoru into his arms and asked softly, "Xiaoru, what did my mother come here for today? Did she give you any trouble?"
Chen Xiaoru couldn't help but chuckle after hearing this: "You are such a good son. Your mother will be sad if she knows what you said."
"Sad? What's there to be sad about?" Chu Tianche disagreed.
"Your mother came today to ask when we will get married." Chen Xiaoru suddenly said with a hint of teasing in her tone.
Chu Tianche's eyes flashed with surprise, and he asked anxiously: "Then what did you say?"
"I said I didn't know, and then your mother left angrily." Chen Xiaoru said, observing Chu Tianche's expression.
A trace of disappointment flashed across Chu Tianche's eyes, but it quickly disappeared. He hugged Chen Xiaoru tightly and thought to himself: No rush, you are in my arms now, and getting married is just a matter of time.
Chen Xiaoru looked at him, and with a sudden thought, she leaned forward and placed a gentle kiss on Chu Tianche's lips. Just as she was about to pull away, Chu Tianche suddenly deepened the kiss. He held her waist tightly, pulling her closer to him, and his tongue aggressively pried open her teeth, deeply sucking in her sweetness. Chen Xiaoru felt dizzy, her body limp in his arms, and she slowly responded to him.
Chu Tianche felt her response and kissed her even more passionately. His hands unconsciously touched her back, caressing it gently. Chen Xiaoru was infected by his passion and put her arms around his neck, her fingertips gently tangling in his hair.
At this moment, Chu Tianche suddenly stopped and pulled away slightly. His deep eyes flashed with a complex light, and his low voice was filled with a hint of repression: "Xiao Ru, I think..."
Chen Xiaoru interrupted him playfully: "No, you don't want to. Besides, I'm pregnant, so I can't do that in the first few months."
Chu Tianche pulled Chen Xiaoru's hand under him and said softly, "It's okay, help me."
Chen Xiaoru had no choice but to be forced to open the business. When she finished, her hands were shaking slightly. Chu Tianche carried her to the bathroom with a distressed look on his face and carefully wiped her body.
After cleaning up, the two of them lay on the bed. The bedroom was quiet, with only the sound of each other's breathing. Chen Xiaoru suddenly said, "Tian Che, do you have anything to do tomorrow?"
Her voice was soft and tentative.
"What's wrong? Is there something wrong?" Chu Tianche asked gently, with a hint of doubt in his eyes.
Chen Xiaoru took a deep breath, mustered her courage, and said, "Well, I want to take you to see my mother, the director. She's a very kind person. If it weren't for her, I might not exist in this world."
Chu Tianche's eyes flashed with surprise when he heard this, but then softened. He gently stroked Chen Xiaoru's cheek and said softly, "Okay, I'm very happy to have this opportunity. Go to sleep, and we'll go together tomorrow."
Chen Xiaoru felt the sincerity in Chu Tianche's words, and a warm current surged in her heart. She snuggled in his arms and whispered, "Thank you, Tianche."
Chu Tianche held her tighter and placed a soft kiss on her forehead. "You're welcome, Xiaoru. You're very important to me, and I want to get to know the important people in your life."
Chen Xiaoru looked up at Chu Tianche, tears of emotion glistening in her eyes. She suddenly realized that although their relationship had developed quickly, Chu Tianche's care for her was genuine. This realization gradually dissipated the uneasiness in her heart.
"Tian Che," Chen Xiaoru whispered softly, "I'm very grateful that you understand me and are willing to go with me to see the dean's mother."
Chu Tianche smiled gently and stroked her hair. "Xiaoru, we are one. Your past and your family are all things I want to understand and cherish. Now, let's rest well and prepare for tomorrow."
Chen Xiaoru nodded, closed her eyes, and felt Chu Tianche's body temperature and heartbeat. She knew that tomorrow would be an important day, not only because she would meet the dean's mother, but also because it marked a new stage in her relationship with Chu Tianche.
In this way, the two of them fell asleep in each other's arms, quietly waiting for tomorrow to come.
In the morning, the first rays of sunlight filtered through the gauze curtains, gently casting a light on the white sheets. The room was quiet and warm, with only the sound of gentle breathing echoing in the air.
Chen Xiaoru slowly opened her eyes, and what came into view was Chu Tianche's handsome face. He was sound asleep, his thick eyelashes casting a shadow beneath his eyelids, and his tall nose was accentuated by the morning light. Her gaze slid down his face, landing on his sturdy chest, where a faint red mark from last night still lingered.
Chen Xiaoru's cheeks flushed slightly, and she gently moved her body, trying to break free from Chu Tianche's arms. However, her movement woke up the sleeping man.
