Song Zhe looked at her angry face and felt as if a place in his heart was gently touched. It was soft and fluffy, like a little kitten with its fur standing on end. Why was she so lovable?
He sighed helplessly, and reached out his hand as if possessed by a ghost, gently pulling Chen Xiaoru's wrist. His voice softened unconsciously: "Alright, alright, my aunt, can't I just stop talking? Don't be angry, just sit with me for a while, okay? I just want to... I just want to look at you like this."
"I say, we've only known each other for less than two days! And you're already crazy about me?" Chen Xiaoru raised her eyebrows and put on a wicked smile, with a bit of teasing and temptation.

Watching her leaving, Song Zhe felt as if something was tugging at his heart, causing him great pain. Her expression just now clearly showed that she was sad. But why was she sad? The straight man didn't understand.
Chen Xiaoru walked out of the room quickly and came to the kitchen door, where she heard Song Qingqing's sharp voice. She frowned and stood quietly against the wall, wanting to listen to what they were talking about.
"Mom, now that my brother is in good health, does that mean we don't have to continue living with that lowly woman Chen Xiaoru? She's just an illiterate country girl, how can she be worthy of my brother!" Song Qingqing's voice was full of contempt and disdain.
Song's mother's voice was filled with anger: "What nonsense are you talking about, you dead girl! That's your sister-in-law, how can you say that to her!"
"Mom, what I said is the truth!"
Song Qingqing grumbled unconvincedly, "Sister Cheng Rongrong from the academy loves Big Brother so much. She's beautiful, well-educated, and she and Big Brother are a perfect match! If Big Brother hadn't been in poor health before, they would have been married long ago, and there would be no place for Chen Xiaoru!"
Hearing this, Chen Xiaoru's anger suddenly surged up. Well, since you guys don't like me so much, then why should I stay here!

"Qingqing, you've gone too far!" Song's mother roared, her voice trembling.
Song Qingqing had never been beaten since she was a child. This sudden slap stunned her. She covered her face and looked at her mother in disbelief. Tears instantly welled up in her eyes. She stomped her feet, turned around and ran back to her room, closing the door with a bang.
Chen Xiaoru came out of the kitchen and called out anxiously, "Xiaoyu, Xiaoyu!"
When Chen Xiaoyu heard her sister's cry, she ran over and asked with concern, "Sister, what's wrong with you?"
Chen Xiaoru didn't say anything, but just hugged Chen Xiaoyu tightly, walked out of the Song family's gate quickly, and left without looking back.
Chen Xiaoyu hugged her sister's neck, her little face pressed against Chen Xiaoru's shoulder, her voice trembling slightly: "Sister, where are we going?"
Chen Xiaoru patted Xiaoyu's back gently and asked softly, "Xiaoyu, do you believe your sister?"
