Chapter 117: Just Observe, Never Take Action

In the master bedroom's walk-in closet, Rong Yan changed into a black lace nightgown.

The pajamas were too big; the woman's slender shoulders couldn't support the long shoulder straps, and one of the straps slung diagonally over her arm.

Half of her pinkish skin was faintly visible.

When Fu Jingsheng came out of the shower, he saw the woman who had changed into her pajamas. He rushed over, picked up the slipping bra strap, and put it on the woman's shoulder, saying, "Put it on properly, or you might not be able to control yourself."

The shoulder strap was also an unorthodox one; it slipped off less than two seconds after I jumped on it.

Rong Yan covered her shoulder: "The clothes are too big."

“It could also be that your shoulders are too smooth.” Fu Jingsheng squeezed the woman’s shoulders. “Even though they’re all bone.”

Rong Yan took a step back: "It was agreed that we would only watch and never lay a hand on each other."

Rong Yan has several black pajamas, but none this big. She suspects that Fu Jingsheng chose this dress because the size was wrong; wearing it would reveal too much, including what shouldn't be revealed.

His eyes burned with fury, yet he feigned composure, a slight smile playing on his lips: "Yes, just watch."

"Then put on some clothes first." Rong Yan put her hand on the man's back and pushed him towards the sofa. It's not safe to be wrapped in a bath towel.

"Okay." Fu Jingsheng let go, and the bath towel fell to the ground. He was completely exposed in front of Rong Yan, with nothing covering him. The man turned around and said, "I've been trying on clothes for you for so long, so why don't you try them on for me too?"

The woman unconsciously closed her eyes; wasn't that blatant temptation?

Even if you have a great figure, you can't do this.

"I'll go get it." She groped her way to the sofa, grabbed a piece of clothing at random, and then closed her eyes to put it on Fu Jingsheng.

"It hurts," the man said deliberately.

Rong Yan opened her eyes: "Huh? Did I hit you?"

Fu Jingsheng nodded: "If you don't pay attention to how you wear a pullover pajama, your ears will be ripped off."

The woman kept her eyes half-open, trying not to look down.

But when my fingers touched his firm muscles, my eyes involuntarily looked over, my peripheral vision catching sight of something.

My eyes were glued to it.

Fu Jingsheng followed Rong Yan's gaze and indeed found it resting in that spot.

He gently brushed his fingers against the woman's shoulder, his warm breath brushing against her ear, his voice deep and resonant: "I don't want to, but it does."

Rong Yan's ears are sensitive; even the slightest breeze can send shivers down her spine. Coupled with the visual impact, shameful images flash through her mind.

"It's thinking, how do I do it?" Fu Jingsheng repeated.

He deliberately pressed his lips against the woman's earlobe.

After putting on her bathrobe, Rong Yan's thoughts of leaving finally came back to her senses.

She muttered softly, "I can't see it, I can't see it."

Fu Jingsheng placed his palm on the back of the woman's head: "If you back up any further, you'll hit the bay window."

"Or would you prefer to stay here? We haven't tried this position before. I agree, how about kneeling?"

Rong Yan's hard-won sense of reason vanished in an instant.

Seeing that she didn't react for a moment, Fu Jingsheng knew what was going on; he figured her little brain was probably already conjuring up indescribable images.

He added fuel to the fire: "Don't move, just enjoy the scenery. I'll do it, I'm not tired."

Rong Yan's brain completely short-circuited.

She simply couldn't resist Fu Jingsheng's advances.

She was as if under a spell, and did as Fu Jingsheng said.

"Kneel down on it, the cushion is very soft."

Rong Yan bent her knees and leaned against the bay window, her black pajamas outlining the back of her body in the shape of a letter.

Fu Jingsheng ran one hand over the woman's lower abdomen and used the other hand to pull her towards the bay window.

They probed the water's surface a few times, like a dragonfly skimming the surface.

Every time Rong Yan thought they were about to get down to business, the man was still wandering around outside.

She was so anxious that her back teeth were chattering; this person must be doing it on purpose.

Tired from kneeling, the woman sat up, her emotions still running high.

He held Rong Yan's head with his hand and pressed down hard, the woman's back pressed against the window glass, sometimes cold, sometimes hot.

Fu Jingsheng lingered for a while, waiting for the woman to beg him.

Rong Yan persisted for a while, then surrendered, saying, "Please stop pestering me."

"What?"

The woman raised her voice and repeated it.

I had no plans for this tonight, so how did I end up having to beg him?

Afterwards, Rong Yan lay on the bed, somewhat questioning the meaning of life.

——

Early in the morning, Gu Hannian knocked on the door several times before Rong Yan opened her eyes. She didn't even remember when she had fallen asleep.

The man beside me was gone. A message appeared in the WeChat chat: "Auntie made some nourishing soup; you can eat it as soon as you wake up. I'm going to the company to rest and will be back tonight. You can do whatever you want during the day."

The woman opened the door, her legs already weak, and when she saw the strangely made-up person in front of her, she was so frightened that she almost fell to the ground.

"A ghost!" she exclaimed, covering her eyes.

Gu Hannian pouted: "Isn't it pretty?"

Rong Yan moved her hand away: "Sister!"

Gu Hannian twirled around in her purple cheongsam and said, "I think it looks really good."

"No, what happened to you?" Rong Yan looked Gu Hannian up and down.

She lowered her head shyly and stammered, "Does it look good? I don't wear skirts much, this one is brand new."

Rong Yan pulled her sister in: "Your makeup is too heavy, let me fix it for you. But do you have any important events today?"

Gu Hannian is going on a date.

"It's not a date, is it?" Rong Yan guessed immediately.

Gu Hannian denied it: "No...no, I just had dinner with some friends."

Rong Yan grinned mischievously: "Sister, you have a boyfriend?"

Gu Hannian felt even more embarrassed. She bit her lip, her face turning bright red.

"Your expression tells me I guessed right. Tell me quickly, do I know him? What's he like?"

Gu Hannian cupped her face in her hands: "Oh dear, you'll see in a while. Hurry up and get it done for me, it'll be 10 o'clock soon."

"Sister," Rong Yan leaned on Gu Hannian's shoulder, "before you confirm your relationship, you must let us see you. I don't want you to get hurt again."

Gu Hannian was too embarrassed to say that her date was Ye Jianming, and that she had taken the initiative to confess her feelings.

She knew Ye Jianming was a good person, otherwise Rong Yan wouldn't have become friends with him.

"Yes, I'll tell you who it is in a while. Don't worry, he's a good person. You'll see when you see him." Gu Hannian held her sister's hand.

"Okay, I'll do your makeup, make it look pretty." Rong Yan smiled.

Ye Jianming arrived at the coffee shop ahead of time.

He ordered coffee in advance and waited for Gu Hannian.

Around 10 o'clock, the woman finally appeared.

Gu Hannian was completely different today; she had her hair up and was wearing a dress.

"Ye Jianming." Her voice was still loud; if it weren't for the "Ye Jianming" in her name, the man might not have recognized her.

Ye Jianming helped her move the chair: "I ordered the coffee first. I forgot to ask what kind of cake you like, so I didn't order any. Choose one, and I'll add it."

Gu Hannian slowly sat down: "I'm fine with anything, I'm not picky about food. Um, Rong Yan knows I'm here on a date and asked me who my boyfriend is."

"If she knows it's me, won't she be shocked?"

Rong Yan, standing behind Ye Jianming, answered, "Yes."
